A personal project adapting my favorite Jane Austen book. This book is a huge influence on me and I remeber watching the 2005 movie and the mini series when I was really young and barely knew English. Even with only three weeks to do it, I’m glad to have done and finished it.

jane austen’s pride and prejudice (1813) has many great moments that i’d gladly make thousands of posts analyzing but i just love the “accomplished woman” scene SO much. like you could get rid of the rest of the book and be left with that scene and you would still have the thesis of the book laid out pretty nicely for you. as he lists the characteristics an accomplished woman has, darcy actually means to pay elizabeth a compliment, since he clearly holds her in high regard and would probably include her in his list of accomplished women, but she interprets it as both an insult and his ego coming through. their respective prejudice blinds one to the other’s true intent and understanding in what is essentially a summary of the book’s entire point and it’s such a big chef’s kiss from me!!! in this essay i will—

I was able to save everyone, except Lily. Can you say the same thing about yourself ? I take pride in my end. Considering that no one is God, therefore no one has the live or die right over no one, I saved also Gaius, Dracula & Seraphine. And altho I hate the fact that I couldn't save Lily too, I admit the poetic justice in her end. The end met the beginning. Bye, Bloodbound, you were a mixed experience, many times very hurtful to me specifically, 'cause of the Vlad Țepeș things that no foreigner will ever get, but you filled our lives for 2 years and make us go through many things that I think changed us all.
