Large homes require more worry and work. Fancy cars scratch just the same from parking lot dings and caviar just fucking taste like salty balls. What is priceless is your soul. What is worthy of awe is the fact that you are here with an opportunity. I can't tell you what yours is. I barely had the guts to go with mine. If you get the guts, it's a crazy, crazy life. What I'd like to leave you with is... I've spent my adult life studying human behavior. I studied the best, acing all the tests, and I studied with the best. I've met Albert Bandura, the father of observational learning. Zimbardo, the Stanford Prison study Professor told me stories about dark human duality. I took classes from Beck, the founder of Cognitive Behavior Therapy. I have books signed by Jack Kornfield, the American Buddhist Monk, and have had dinner with more brain gurus than most. I took the psychological, marriage, happiness and diagnostic tests before I gave them to clients. I've used new age brain altering, emotion enhancing equipment on myself. I've ran away spending years alone, learned shamanism, puked my guts up, cried my heart out, tried again, crumpled to the floor in emotional pain, toughened up and fell again... despite it all and in the end what I finally learned is that I came here to be my own best friend. I can fix and change and learn and turn and run and fix and change....but I always come back to me. The lesson is always "be me". The unconditional love we all seek is truly about each of us learning to love our own story. And when we turn and face it, placing all our attention on it, the rest of the world benefits because you are one less soul that needs saving. You saved yourself and now the rest of the world will follow suit. My evolution wall gets erased every New Moon. It's a ritual I did not plan. But for over 2 years, I've been wiping the slate clean monthly. It's more difficult than you'd think to erase but I remind myself to let go so new memories have space. This month the board began with a friend's footprint (@holachichi_ ) placed the day she left. Weeks later another friend (FK) drew his hand announcing "all whom enter must draw their hand". Chichi's foot was already perfectly placed for a woman so true to self. <3 Here are the inspiring messages the month of September taught. (I often find poetic flow reading from the bottom up ;-) We are all just babies man. Made in a state of Love. If you lived here you are home now. Pee outside. Mirror Love. Free Hugs. She's changed. Every season she continues to excite me. This is the river I used to cross to a 5-foot sliver of raised sand beach where I'd meditate and sun. The rains and high tides washed that sand hill out. Now at high tide the ocean and river have become one. Every season she forces me to be flexible. I can't possibly stick to my same routine. I must let go of the ideas I once held for my peace, accept the adventure and venture in ease. I'm sure I'll discover another perfect sunset spot to find my peace. I'm thankful she's changed because I know how horribly we've treated her. If she can change, so can we. ~ Juls <3 #peace
Enjoy this New Moon ladies. Take some extra time for yourself and your dreams today. Focus on the "why" and the feeling the "why" brings. The details work themselves out, it's not your job to know the how. Trust your nature to guide you knowing all of nature thrives when you thrive. You are a Goddess with instincts more powerful than your programmed mind. So don't listen to your mind. It will talk you out of new every time. My mind and I have a truce now. I call on her for math and shit that needs structure but the rest of the time (which is most of the time) I ask her to just chill out. I know her. She's genius with massive thought but she's also exhausted. I've thanked her for getting me thus far. From now on I'm led by my heart. In this now notice the signs. The feeling you seek is here now. Look for all the positive changes coming at us fast. Pay attention to the new earth friendly technology, the hoards of people working like mad to save our earth, legalization of Mother Earth's herb, all the good news coming across your newsfeed, people waking up left and right and even the ability to "love" things now on Facebook is positive change we mustn't minimize. When someone all of a sudden treats you with more respect and love than you'd ever expect, don't question it. Take it, thank it and remind yourself this is the change you've been asking for. What we give our attention grows. Where our consciousness goes energy flows. Your world is a reflection of your own self love. This is the woman you signed up to be because my goodness Goddess your soul was begging to be seen. I wish you all more blissful feelings than you've ever received. Dear Monday, I owe you an apology. Somewhere along the way I learned to hate you. I am sorry. You are a beautiful day no more or less fantastic than any of the days I wake and feel grateful for the breath I take. Like so many sacred beautiful things in this world you were labeled and rejected, despised and called idiotic names by a society that values producing over creating things. We learned to be material not spiritual and denied our co-creative power by the individual. Dearest Monday it is all changing. It is changing for the better. The “good ole” days are not behind us, but among us in this now. We are remembering who we are. We are remembering you. Sweetheart, you are just as sacred as the day before you. Your sunrise and sunset are some of the most fantastic. You are not manic. I see you. My entire ancestral lineage was labeled crazy too. You were not to blame for our anxieties. The pain has always been our own souls crying. From this day forward, I worship you. On this day, I relabel you. You are the day I proclaim to stay in the now with my mind focused on you—your beauty, your nature and your calm among the chaos. From now on, you my dear will be my day off. In all your days, you’ve been neglected, you still rose and shined your light. And when you went to sleep you were all alone at night. No one there to see you set.
