Paolo Sebastian Disney: Once Upon A Dream Collection
I never tried to be anything other than a dreamer. I never paid any attention to people who told me to go out and live. I belonged always to whatever was far from me and to whatever I could never be.
Fernando Pessoa, The Book of Disquiet (via wordscanbeenough)
Goodbye 2016; Hello 2017
Hand, in hand, we look back at our fading footprints; The evidence of our jagged journey disappearing before our red-rimmed eyes; The sea breeze flirts with our loose locks as the sun’s rays breaks the cover of clouds above. He holds on tighter than ever – a timid monkey hugging the trunk of a tree, so he clasps my forearms with both hands, hanging on; “What now?” he murmurs, in my head; I take a deep breath and respond, “Now we go forth and end up where we ought to be…”
Goodbye 2017; Hello 2018
Hand, in hand, we pay no mind to our fading footprints; The sea breeze flirts with our loose locks as the sun’s rays breaks the cover of clouds above. He prances about, leaping over imaginary obstacles, brandishing a stick he picked, he pokes and jabs defeating the imaginary adversaries, laughing, lolling, chasing the ebb of the waves, running from the flow of them; an agile monkey in love with his little world. I don’t want to interrupt him; it’s been so long he’s come out to play with abandon. “What next?” he yells, in my head; I kneel to pick a shell then point it at the horizon, “Next, we go forth and conquer.”
