Black & White : A Jumin and Zen Zine Interest Check

Hello everyone! I wanted to see if anyone was interested in participating or buying in a Mystic Messenger Jumin and Zen centric zine?

Black and White would be a zine focussing on the relationship both platonic and romantic between Jumin Han and Zen (Hyun Ryu) Showcasing equal focus on art and writing to create a wonderful balance between both to produce a wonderful zine. 

In this zine, I’d be hoping to have several standalone artists, some spread artists, and collab artists who would be working right alongside the writers.

Depending on the interest this post gets I’ll also be opening mod apps to assist me with this zine! If you are interested in this zine please help signal boost this post to spread the word!

I got the pdf for the book and aaaaahhhh it was amazing omg thank you all so much for making this amazing book, 1000/10 would buy again

Fun fact: The outline we made for the story is a bullet point list that takes up 9 A4 pages!

JuZen Zine sounded really great, I saw a lot are doing zines for YooRan and Ray lately, it's a good way for new charity, I definitely give my best contribution to it! ❤

Yes, I’ve seen a lot of people making zines lately and it’s awesome! Aaah thank you, we would be thrilled to see you join! We are planning to wait a bit because just as you said, there’s quite a few zines floating around and also with the upcoming JuminZen Week in May, we want to give artists some breathing room. :D (Not to mention real life is still kicking our amateur asses around.) Once we’ve plotted out the important parts, we’ll let you know!

I’ve been asked if I’d be interested in doing a JuZen Zine (a zine with all art and in color) and the answer is definitely, considering it’d be another way to earn money for charity. I’m curious if people would be interested in helping me create it (artists, people with experience in zines, etc)? Please poke me in any way possible if you are, or spread the word to whoever might be!

Definitely! From experience from talking with a buyer in South America, it does take a little longer than what Lulu says on their site (because their offices are located in NA and EU), but it should arrive with little to no issue.

sorry to bother you but is there going to be a time limit to purchase the pdf version of the book? or is it going to be available just as the physical version?

Nope! It should stay up as long as we want it (which should be a long, long time, maybe as long as payhip exists) just like the physical.

What will you do if has somebody shared the digital version to others?

While we can never truly stop filesharing, payhip not only puts in an electronic signature of the buyer in the PDF, so anyone putting it online would expose themselves.

Unfortunately, we didn’t have the time or resources ($$) to completely rework the file into a eBook format, as a result, there will be no cover included (but you are welcome to right click and save the cover we uploaded onto Payhip).

How long is the book going to be available for purchase/download? Is there a deadline to buy it when the PDF becomes available?

As long as Lulu doesn’t decide to die on us, there is no deadline. We will keep the hardcopy available when the digital version is up for sale. <3

do you have an estimate price for the digital version of the book? I'd like to start saving up until it's released ^_^

Currently we have our sights set on $14,95 as long as there aren’t any strange new expenses we have to deal with. :D We are working on things like clickable links on choice sections (which is why we haven’t released it yet), and we’ll let you know when it’s ready or when we think it’ll be ready!
