"Then let's be lost together"
Leon x Trainer! Reader

Warnings: none!
--------------------------------------------------------------
"(Pokemon), return!"
You called back your partner as the wind and the rain continued to blow, not wanting to danger your partner in this weather. You tried to shield your eyes as you looked around to see where you were.
"I can't see anything..." You huffed and pulled out your rotom phone noticing it was low on battery, "can't even call for a taxi either."
You then put your phone away and trudged to an abandoned tower to get some cover from the weather. As you sat your stuff down in the dark room you sighed in relief and turned your flashlight on.
"At this rate, I'll be late to the tournament." You huffed in disappointment and sat down against a wall with your knees to your chest.
Some faint noises could be heard in the background, choosing to ignore it you called out your (electric type Pokemon of your choice!) and asked if they could lend their power to charge your phone.
You looked around in the dark, damp place and sighed again. You looked back at your Pokemon and they looked uneasy and were in a defensive stance.
"What is it?" you asked and looked in the direction your Pokemon was looking at. Your eyes widened when you saw a Pokemon emerge from a shadow. It was a wild Dusclops!
"Okay ready to fight (Pokemon name)? Oh wait you still have my phone in your mouth... Let's go!" You decided to bolt with your Pokemon closely behind you.
You managed to get far enough away from the tower and back in the pouring rain. "Great..."
"Heyy!!" A loud voice called from above you. You looked up and saw an outline of a Charizard with someone on top. "Hey! Are you lost?"
That's weird, flying taxis usually use Corviknights...
The Charizard and the man landed in front of you and your vision cleared....It was Champion Leon! The one you were dreaming of going up against if you weren't caught in this bloody rain...
Your eyes widened as you saw him jump off Charizard and walk up to you, towering over you.
"Sorry to startle you, I got lost trying to make my way to Wyndon. Then this storm kicked up, losing my way even more," he said sheepishly, rubbing the back of his neck.
You gotta admit, he looked delicious like this. All drenched, his clothes clinging to his body showing the outline of his muscles and- I'mma stop there.
"Uh yeah, same. I was also headed to Wyndon until I got caught in the rain," you said to him.
"So you're in the same boat I'm in! Haha, what a coincidence!" he laughed. "How about we set up camp together? I may not look like it but I can cook a pretty mean curry."
You smiled at him and approved as you both sat your stuff down and set up a campsite. You shared your ingredients but he opted to use whipped cream, sweet pecha berries, and...sausages?
"Um, are you sure that's going to be good?"
"Trust me," he replied, concentrating on making his curry. You shrugged and let your pokemon out so they could recharge.
Time passes as you're cracking jokes with Leon and talking and getting to know each other. He finally finishes his rancid curry and gives you a plate to have a try.
You looked at the plate that stood in your hands suspiciously. It was bubbling and gurgling.
"eat up! I promise it's as good as it looks," he says with a mouthful.
You looked at him and back at your plate and decide to lick the tip of the spoon. To much surprise it was pretty good. Your pokemon seemed to enjoy it judging from the food around their mouths.
As your two finish up dinner, you notice the rain stopped but it was dark outside. Leon was gathering up the dirty dishes while you were getting your phone to work again after having a little water damage and a bite mark from your Pokemon.
"Hey, how about we get some sleep and tomorrow morning we can travel to Wyndon together?" Leon suggests.
"Sounds like a plan, hopefully we don't get lost," you joked.
"If we did, let's get lost together"

Since y’all liked it here is part two !! I’ll try posting part three next week but I have some schoolwork todo pookies .
Cws: Yandere! behavior (Douma), unhealthy relationship , ( this is chapter is mostly fluff)
Flashback 3 years ago
The mountains were quiet, shrouded in mist and the muted golds and reds of autumn leaves.
Y/N moved slowly along the damp, narrow path, her kimono brushing against the wet foliage, each step deliberate. She had come to this small town to hide, to breathe without fear, far from the estate that had been her cage. Her heart still beat unevenly at the memory of him
Douma.
who actually never had struck her, never physically harmed her, yet had wrapped her world in threats and manipulation so skillful that leaving had felt impossible. He had adored her. She had been the only thing he had truly wanted, his heart softening at her smallest joys
the excited squeal when she saw the koi fish he had bought for her, the way her eyes sparkled at feeding them. He had let her take the reins of her happiness, and in doing so, he had fallen completely. But she had taken it all and run.
.
Now, she walked through the misted streets of the mountain town, longing for warmth, for something of safety and normalcy. The teashop she had found was small, tucked into a corner where the autumn trees painted everything in amber and firelight. The wooden floor was moist from the lingering rain, the scent of steeping tea blending with the earthy smell of the surrounding forest.
She slid the door open.
The warmth inside hit her immediately,
the scent of steeping leaves, cedarwood, and faint incense. Tatami mats lined the floor, worn smooth with years of footsteps. She stood there uncertain, dripping water onto the wooden threshold.
An elderly woman appeared from behind the counter, her smile gentle, voice kind but a little creased with curiosity.
“Oh, my dear, you look half frozen,” she said. “Sit, sit. Would you like some tea?”
Y/N opened her mouth, but no words came. She didn’t know what she wanted. For days she had been running, her mind filled only with escape, not with simple things like warmth or comfort. Her throat felt tight.
The old lady didn’t wait for her answer. “I’ll bring you a cup,” she decided, bustling away. “Green tea—it’ll warm your bones.”
Y/N sat slowly by the window, her body stiff, hands trembling in her lap. The soft patter of rain against the roof filled the silence. When the steaming cup was set before her, the earthy fragrance rose with the curling steam. She wrapped her hands around it, the warmth seeping into her chilled fingers.
She didn’t drink. She only stared into the dark liquid, her reflection shimmering back at her. For the first time in years, she was not in his presence. No Douma. No suffocating smiles or threats delivered with a honeyed voice. She was free. And yet, she felt completely untethered, her entire being hollow. What now? Who was she, without the shadow she had fled?
The door creaked open again.
Her heart leapt painfully into her throat. Panic seized her chest, she was certain it was him.
Certain that the smooth lilt of Douma’s voice would pour into the room, that he would be standing there with that disarming smile, reminding her escape was futile.
But it wasn’t him.
It was another man.
his presence calm rather than overwhelming. His eyes were sharp, yet not cruel. His haori dripped with rain as he stepped inside, sliding the door shut behind him. His gaze swept the shop, and for a brief moment, it landed on her.
Y/N lowered her head quickly, clutching her teacup as if it could shield her. But even as she tried to vanish into herself, she felt the difference immediately. His presence did not suffocate. It didn’t wrap around her like chains. It was steady, grounded, almost reassuring.
And as the old tea lady bustled forward to greet him, Y/N realized she was trembling not from the cold anymore, but from the strange, fragile relief of knowing it wasn’t Douma.
The old tea lady welcomed the new guest warmly, bowing slightly.
“Ah, traveling through the rain, sir? Please, sit. I’ll bring you a cup as well.”
The Hashira gave a quiet nod, his voice low and steady. “Thank you.”
He slid off his damp sandals and stepped onto the tatami with practiced ease, his presence filling the small room without overwhelming it. Y/N felt her breath catch when his gaze brushed her again, sharp yet oddly gentle. She quickly looked back down at her tea, her fingers tightening on the cup.
He chose the seat closest to hers. Not right beside her, but near enough that his warmth carried across the space between them. His sword rested against the wall within reach, a silent reminder of who he was.
For a moment, only the sound of rain filled the silence. Y/N sat stiffly, staring into the steam rising from her tea, hoping he wouldn’t speak, yet also hoping he would. She didn’t know which would be harder: to remain unnoticed, or to be seen.
The Hashira broke the silence first. His tone was calm, steady, almost conversational, as though he didn’t want to startle her.
“You look like you’ve come a long way.”
Y/N blinked, the words settling into her chest like stones in water. She didn’t answer right away. Her throat tightened, unsure how much she could say. Finally, she murmured, barely above a whisper, “I… suppose I have.”
He didn’t push. He only nodded slightly, as if confirming something he already knew. His eyes returned to the steaming cup the tea lady had set before him, and he lifted it with quiet ease.
The silence stretched again, but it wasn’t heavy. It was… steady. Not the suffocating quiet she had known with Douma, where every pause was a trap. This one was patient, like the rain outside, simply there, without demand.
“You’re alone?” he asked softly after a moment, though not unkindly.
Y/N’s fingers tightened around her cup. She hesitated, afraid the truth in her voice might give too much away. “…Yes.”
He hummed quietly, sipping his tea. His gaze flicked toward the window, then back to her. “Then it’s good you found this place. The mountains can be harsh in autumn.”
Something in the way he said it
simple, almost casual, made her chest ache. No threat. No chain hidden in kindness. Just a fact, spoken with concern.
She finally dared to glance at him properly. His face was calm, his eyes sharp but not cruel. For the first time in weeks, she felt her heartbeat steady, if only for a moment.
And as the tea warmed her hands, she realized she was no longer shaking.
