i am really taken aback at the overwhelming positive comments about this rp (apparently this plot hasn’t been seen done before?) y’all are literally making my heart melt, okay. anyway, as i create the flags for the countries, feel free to send over some company, questions, apps, the like.

ok so, here’s the rundown: juniper’s a continent, right? and in juniper, you have scoya, katyr & juniata, all countries. scoya’s the poor, hedonistic one where polyamorous relationships are popular. then you got, katyr who’s more cookie-cutter, super into academics & where same-sex relationships are the norm. lastly, there’s juniata, the spiritual, art-driven ones that have reversed gender roles. oh & katyr & juniata are in a feud. & that’s not even the beginning, folks.

okay, i’m gonna be real with you guys. there’s so much to say about this rp, i’m not sure where to start. but hey, if you’re anything like me & you’re down with rps with fake countries & different societies (a hedonistic one, a reversed gender role one, etc.), then i’d give us a skim.

what are some types of characters you guys would like to see? ( just trying to get a lol bit of inspo ) ps this rp looks amazing !!

i think what can really garner tons of inspo is first seeing what kind of chara you have muse for & adapting it. because charas don’t have to really have a strong resistance or opinion of the country/politics/society so just about any chara can fit in here. but, if that’s lacking some ideas that i think would be cool to see (that are more related to the plot) would be someone in the middle of the scoya rivalry (on either side) & often travels to different countries or the neutral zone to escape the conflict, a massive celebrity from juniata who is on tour in juniper, a divorced katyr business owner who is moving his business to scoya, etc. another thing to stir inspo is also just thinking of one of your favorite plot points from a country & running with it. say the unemployment factor in scoya is really appealing to you, then maybe make a chara whose whole family has been affected by unemployment & wants to get out of the hump by (doing what many scoyans do) selling drugs. or a chara who is unemployed themselves, etc. hope this helps boo! and thank you so much, eeeep.

now that you know a little more on katyr & juniata, there’s something interesting happening in scoya, too. for starters, north & east scoya has a rivalry with the south & west of scoya, so they’re kind of on a brink of a civil war. oh, and their economy is collapsing because of that 46% unemployment rate. so if you’re ever having a bad day, just be glad you’re not in scoya.

gonna keep the ball rolling on this fun fact thing & add another. alright, juniata. look, juniata is kind of known for having restrictive pills & there’s a clause (in its legalization) that says that parents can give this to kids to restrict their disobedience or sexual urges, etc. so now the prime minister wants to get rid of it, but that means also eliminating the super popular soulmate pill, which stirs certain hormones in the body & helps connect you with others on the soulmate pill. so, hmmm, it’ll be interesting to see what happens.

lil’ random fact for ‘ya: a tradition in katyr, one of the countries in juniper, is to get married by 18 & no later than 20 (unless you get divorced). so, if the person doesn’t know who to get married to, it’s not uncommon for parents to arrange marriages. geez, katyr, you good?

this isn’t quite the rp you’ve seen before & i feel like it has a lot to do with the setting. it takes place on a fictional continent with fictional countries who all have complicated ties to one another. oh & their societies aren’t like ours. more on what that means can be found here.

so, here’s the pitch: there’s a continent — juniper — that has 3 countries — katyr, scoya & juniata — & they all have their own customs/politics/norms which is pretty cool. like, katyr is a same-sex positive society & polyamorous relationships are the norm in scoya. but i’d take a further look for myself.

geez, it’s so freakin’ hot in texas, it doesn’t even feel like winter or the holidays. not sure if i like that just yet. anyway, ‘ya girl is awaken & continuing her bingeing escapade so i’ll be on the main for a while. in the meantime, i highly suggest you check us out. i’ve heard it’s not really a plot seen done before. i’d look for myself, though.
