Some dandelion nails I did a few weeks back
March is over, but I wasn’t over green yet. Since I didn’t do my nails for St. Patrick’s Day, I figured why not do green, gold, drops of citrine, and top it off with a fairly well-known symbol - the triquetra. According to Wikipedia the symbol has been found on early Northern European runestones and coins, but is probably most familiar to people as a Celtic or Celtic-Christian symbol (or the cover of the Book of Shadows in Charmed :P).
Happy Easter, everyone! Here are the pastel floral nails I created to celebrate. I’m finally getting back on track with my nail art, after almost a month without painting my nails. I’ve been so busy with work and my personal life that I haven’t been taking good care of my nails or the rest of my body. However, this last week I started making some changes, and I’m feeling much better. Hopefully, I’ll keep it up :)
After two weeks, I’m finally posting a picture of my Valentine’s Day nails. So sorry for the wait guys, but I’ve been so busy at work. I’m giving my nails a little break, but I hope to post some new stuff soon!
新年快樂! I’m a few days late from the start of the new year, but happy Chinese New Year/Lunar New Year, everyone! I had planned to do a more elaborate design, but I was too busy with new year’s preparations and visits to really spend much time on my nails. These look really great up close with the gold flecks on the matte red background, but they’re a little lacking when you look at them from afar. I will definitely keep experimenting to find what color combos look good with this gold top coat.
This was last week’s manicure, but I didn’t have time to upload the pictures until now. It’s been such a busy month so far, but mostly for the best. Last week, I got a lot of really great news at work and I also got Zoya’s Whispers collection in the mail. This is one of the polishes with some simple white polka dots. They looked super cute in person, so I’ll definitely be doing this one again when I’m short on time for a full manicure.
I needed something simple and elegant after the holidays, and I’m really happy with how this turned out. This design is one of the more popular ones in my Etsy shop, so I figured I’d try it out on myself. The nails are actually pinker in person, but I just couldn’t get the lighting right.
The holidays may be over, but it's still winter so snowflakes are still relevant!
This is a really simple silver dotticure with white rhinestone embellishments. The shape made by the dots and stones sort of reminds me of a tiara. These are my post-new year pretty, pretty princess nails.Â
It's not nail art, but we have the prettiest sunsets at my office.
Matte black and silver glitter nails to ring in the new year! I think one resolution of mine will be to use more glitter polish :P
Merry Christmas, everyone! I hope your days have been full of family, friends, and joy.Â
These were my nails for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. They are supposed to resemble the traditional Christmas star but with rhinestone centers. I’m pretty happy with how they came out, but I think I’ll be able to do better next year.
I know I’m nearly a week early, but have a holly jolly Christmas everyone!
A quick little design using my gift polishes. I feel like I have Barbie nails! I was in a rush when I did them and the edges look horrible, but I really like the color combo. Will definitely be doing this again.
An early Christmas gift from my friend @outofmylegelykwo! These are actually the first China Glaze polishes I've ever had, so I can't wait to try them out.
Happy Hanukkah, everyone! These are silver half-moons on a dark blue background. This was my first time doing half-moons, and boy was it easy. Not sure why I hadn’t tried it before, but I will definitely be trying this again with other colors.Â
