YAP ABOUT TADC EPISODE 9 FINALE AHEAD

WARNING YOU MAY BE SPOILED

(I’m just talking about my opinion on the ending and the fandom’s reaction to it but still read at your own risk)

Ok sorry but the internet is making me mad cuz the tadc ending was really good idk why people are hating on it. The creator said that she wanted the meaning of her show to be about being happy with a simple life LIKE BRO DID WE WATCH THE SAME SHOW??? “Oh but they didn’t show this” “I still don’t know about this thing for my dumb theory” BRO JUST ENJOY THE ENDING PLEASE I BEG OF YOU! I THOUGHT IT WAS SICK LITERALLY WHAT. THEY ACCEPTED THEIR FATE AND LIVED ON WITH THEIR LIVES AND IT WAS AWESOME! IT WAS A CUTE ENDING! WAS IT PERFECT NO OFC NOT BUT IT WAS STILL A GOOD ENDING FOR THIS SHOW!!!!!

I don’t wanna get yelled at so ofc this is all just my opinion….however do not ever lump me in with the tadc fandom cuz they will complain about anything smh

Ok so I’m gonna talk about the tadc movie finale but I’m not gonna spoil anything I promise-

All I wanna say: Y’all are gonna love it no matter what. If you really love the show for what it is you’re gonna love the ending cuz holy crap dude I literally don’t think I would change a single thing about it.

So I’ve been MIA because life decided to hit me with the full combo attack. Got sick, had to crawl my way through work catch-up, then immediately flew halfway across the world for a sister bonding trip. Which was lovely btw. Exhausting. But lovely.

Meanwhile, sitting quietly in my drafts were my TADC thoughts, including the fact that my theater sold out of tickets within FOUR HOURS of release. Four. Hours. I stared at that “sold out” screen like... this:

AND NOW I hear episode 9 got fully leaked online???

Actually enraging.

Like genuinely, my heart hurts for Gooseworx and everyone at GLITCH Productions because imagine pouring that much love, time, animation, writing, blood, sweat, tears, caffeine, and probable psychological damage into a project just for some random loser online to go “hehehe what if I ruined it for everyone.”

Meanwhile the fandom was already fighting for our lives trying to avoid movie spoilers before the YouTube release, and apparently it was all for NOTHING because somebody decided basic human decency was optional.

I truly do not understand people who get joy out of spoiling things for others. Some folks genuinely act like being a minor inconvenience to thousands of people is their jerking off material.

But ANYWAY. I’m still waiting for the official release. I’m blocking tags, dodging spoilers, and when the episode properly drops I will be seated, emotionally devastated, and ready to celebrate Gooseworx’s amazing work the way it deserves to be celebrated.

Because creators deserve better than this.

TL;DR: fuck you to whoever leaked the episode.

Can the TADC fandom just calm down?

Like genuinely. With everything going on rn I don’t even know what’s real anymore. I just want to watch my damn show.

I’ll be honest, I don’t think I have all of the information on the controversy going around. Mainly because there’s so much shit I can’t tell what the hell is going on anymore.

However I will say that: I don’t think Gooseworx is a racist- and if you disagree then you may tell me in a RESPECTFUL AND POLITE MANNER!!! I don’t care if I’m wrong or if someone disagrees just tell me NICELY!! THATS ALL I ASK!

While I’m at it, I don’t think anyone in the cast or crew is racist. I acknowledge that certain people have made very poor jokes about things-some of which really just were not okay I’ll admit- but I don’t believe that anyone involved with the show is a bad person.

Also- some people are taking things way too seriously. I honestly think some people in the fandom are trying to cause problems on purpose.

I love the show. I really really love this show. But- the show is not real, the people working on it are.

At the end of the day we’re all just random people on the internet. So let’s all just take a breath, calm down, and enjoy our show.

For anyone who decides to go see the finale in theaters can we all agree to the following terms:

1. Don’t spoil the ending afterwards

2. Don’t be weird in the theatre

3. Don’t be hooting and hollering during the finale

Just please put spoiler warnings to anything you post, don’t get freaky and act like THAT side of the fandom in the theater, and just don’t be loud and disruptive during the finale like you would for any movie. (Unless someone dies or something really insane happens I GUESS it’s okay but still)

Let’s all have a wonderful movie experience before we start bawling our eyes out for the finale! :D
