Stargaze Magazine: Dinner & Conversation with Juno
The Journalists at Stargaze Magazine had the wonderful opportunity to sit down and have dinner and drinks with the ever-orbiting star, JUNO, and their Segyein, the heir to a long legacy of fashion and design, COVELLA. With their upcoming appearance in the newest season of Alien Stage, we asked them several hot questions that fans and alien admirers alike had for them. Things they've purposely hid, and so on.
Interviewer: The first set of rounds has been announced recently, and while we've seen the other contestants' reactions, some more over the top than others, we have yet to see yours. How do you feel, knowing your first round is against Asphodel? I've come to understand that there's a rivalry between the both of you.
Juno: Immediately in the hot seat, what a question! [Juno laughs.] I hadn't posted my reaction because I didn't want to. I don't believe my connections to my contestants to be deep enough to warrant any dramatics. I kept it business as usual: daily training, resting, and my hobbies.
However, I found myself training harder after learning that I am against Asphodel. This isn't much new news that Mistress Covella, and Lady Bah'mbl have a long history of rivalry together, and as our Segyein's representatives, it is only natural that we find ourself in competition as well. She will not be an easy opponent to win against, but I still will. Mistress Covella's investment in me will not go to waste.
Interviewer: How about your other opponents? From your interactions online and interviews they've given most, if not all, do not think you have the X-factor to triumph over them. What do you have to say about that?
Juno: To be a participant of Alien Stage, there are standards in talent you must reach in order for your Segeyein to register you for auditions. Us here, in the top eight, are the best of the best, no one should be letting their guard down, yet here we are. As much as I know I am talented, and knowing that the judges do as well, I choose not to let my guard down and underestimate my opponents based on arbitrary things such as personality. At the end of the day, I'll remain the last one standing.
Interviewer: On the topic of not letting your guard down, who out of the competitors would you not like to go against?
Juno: I would not like to go against Leo or Xain, to be honest. Talent aside, I wouldn't want either of their ire directed at me for eliminating the other. Peas in a pod, those two. However, it would make for an explosive and entertaining stage should either man compete with me. So it's more of a soft reluctance than a hard one. I am not afraid of whomever I will eventually compete against.
Interviewer: In that case, what steps are you taking to ensure that your victory is assured?
Juno: The most important thing I do now, especially since the first rounds will begin soon, is that I continue to solidify my strengths in the art of performance- something Mistress Covella has taught me since I was younger, and now teaches to my sisters, Hera and Uni. My schedule is not completely busy anymore, which has allowed me to get ample rest as well. Because we do not learn of the songs we will be singing hours in advance, I've taken to practice my memorization skills when I am not resting or reading novels.
Interviewer: Say you win the whole competition, what's next in your orbit, Juno?
Juno: Haha, should I win, I honestly don't know what I'd do next. You're giving me a strange look. Was my answer strange?
Interviewr: I didn't expect this sort of answer from you, to be quite frank. You've always given this air of meticulous preparation.
Juno: I understand, but I wouldn't want you to misunderstand. Mistress Covella has plans for me that I am not allowed to disclose.
Interviewer: How exciting! We look forward to hearing about more projects from you, please pardon my misunderstanding.
The rest of dinner with JUNO and COVELLA went much smoother than we anticipated. Juno is a well mannered human, and seems to have been raised to be well-disciplined, graceful, and very charismatic. Many of the pet humans in the spotlight that I have had the opportunity to meet who embodied similar traits tended to be more introverted and closed-off, letting their segyeins speak in their stead. However, Covella did not need to interrupt or correct any mistakes made, even with the small misunderstanding at the end.
If you are undecided on who to root for in the upcoming season of Alien Stage, I suggest for you to look into the talent that is Juno. I believe that they can become to gold standard of what pet should embody.
