We seem to be so influenced by people and things we see on social media these days. But I believe one day it'll all be gone. The likes. The followers. The comments. The sponsors. The free this, that. This was the first band ever that got me into screaming "metal" rock music. I remember I use to always fast forward through the breakdown of "One Step Closer" where he screams "SHUT UP WHEN IM TALKING TO YOU!" cause I didn't like it 😂 shortly afterwards I fell in love with Linkin Park's music and Chester Bennington's screaming/singing voice. In 6th grade I would play Excitebike on N64 while listening to "Reanimation" on repeat. I remember in Jr. High walking to school on rainy winter mornings with my Sony Walkman listening to "Meteora". And I'll never forget seeing them live at "Summer Sanitarium" at Candlestick Park. So many memories. #ripchesterbennington you will be missed 🙏🏽

What does healthy look like? Is it something we can see? 🤔We all post photos on social media trying to motivate and inspire others what "good", "sexy", and "healthy" looks like. But what you see here in this photo, may or may not be "healthy". Our bodies come in all shapes and sizes. Like most, I wasn't born with the "eat whatever I want and still have abs" genetics 🐷 lol. I missed lunch outings with coworkers, because I had my meals prepped. Missed hours of sleep because I went to the gym late or woke up early for cardio. Said no to home cooked meals when visiting family. However, as sad as it may sound lol.. I was, internally happy. I wanted this. I love accomplishing the goals and challenges I set for myself. YOU, have to want it for YOU. It becomes healthy when you learn to find balance ⚖️ in transforming yourself on the outside as well as in the inside. And all the "missing" and saying "no", is temporary. It will pass, because it's all part of the long term goal for yourself and your life. Stop trying to impress and do it for others. That is unhealthy. Most of them won't even care by tomorrow. Bring out that strength we all have inside of us and do it for you 👊🏽😉 #happy #workdhardpassionately #itsthelighting #lol

Approaching the end of my cut I've began to realize the importance of staying focused while still balancing the things in life that truly matter. My career, friends, and family mean the most to me. I may have had one or two more cheat mea.. days* than I should have 😂 but I will say, I'll never regret the moments and memories I have made skipping that one day off from my diet or gym. Just remember, staying mentally healthy is most of all key in life 🙏🏽
