opinions on my hc of polites being epileptic? his seizures would be most often caused by strong emotions (instead of the more known photosensitivity), so in canon era he would end up assuming its the gods "punishing" him for his anger, fear, etc. and therefore in order to avoid that he becomes the chill guy we see him as
also imagine during the boar hunt, the boar goes to attack polites, the fear triggers a seizure, and that's why ody has to jump between them to save him
(also ody having chronic leg pain from the boar hitting him and being a part-time cane user. but hes not the focus here)
I LOOOOVE when people have disability headcanons for characters. I feel so seen. I fuck hard with both of these. My personal Tiresias headcanon is that prophecies present similar to absence seizures. Polities and Tiresias bonding over it in the underworld.
I also feel the need to shout out @kisu-doodles , they have an epileptic crew member OC whose story sounds a bit similar to your polites, and @blended-ice who has cane user Penelope :) and they’re both stunning artists on top of it.

May i ask which disability you have? Ik its not very nice to ask but I saw your comic about your cat and that you forget things, walk slowly, and your Zeus electrotherapy vid has the tag "electrotherapy for FD" (foot drop?) So I was wondering if you are a fellow MS sufferer, because we are rare to find.
If not, pls ignore, I really don't mean to pry. It's just hard finding someone who can relate sometimes
I’m still trying to figure that out myself lol. Right now it’s Long Covid, and im still working with a bajillion doctors to figure out if it’s anything more concrete than that (and have been for. A while. I hate the healthcare system). I am actually being evaluated for MS though!
FD is for functional dyspepsia. It’s a vague diagnosis but the only thing that kind of explains my constant vomitting.
I never mind when a question like this comes from another disabled person, I know the feeling of trying to find anyone else going through what you’re going through who gets it. We gotta stick together💪
