And OHHH MY GOD….. you’re so right about alll of that 🙏 idk how much you know about his past, but I hc that sometimes he gets flashbacks or memories and it makes him anxious enough to puke, but this probably isn’t super often..?? Like, only if something happened to trigger a bad memory or something !! Either way he’s sooo sexy and I think he should throw up all over himself as a treat <3

today’s brainrot is kinich having a low stomach capacity, but an insanely large appetite,,,,,
his belly is deceptively demanding, in spite of his short stature. even just an hour or two after a maybe-too-filling meal, his tummy decides it’s empty again, loudly whimpering for all nearby to hear. this doesn’t matter much when he’s on his own or with ajaw (despite the dragon’s attempts to tease him for it), but with other people? it’s a nightmare. even if he accepts their offers to feed him, others will overestimate his stomach capacity, leaving him with an aching tummy that will soon be completely empty anyways
head empty. all I can think about is feedee jing yuan being an evil BASTARD because he’d feign confusion and ignorance of why his clothes don’t quite fit the way they use to and why his stomach starts whining with hunger again sooner and sooner after eating a full meal. meanwhile he’s fully aware, intentionally buying clothing a size or two too small and eating appetite stimulants for the sole purpose of getting to enjoy his feeder’s flustered reactions ❤️❤️

Some of these I've had in my head for ages, but ngl a lot of them just formed as I was writing him! I love learning more about a character through the process of writing them.
- His body doesn't give him a lot of warning before he throws up. Usually he'll get only a couple of moments time to rush to the nearest bathroom or grab a bin, but sometimes he'll go from only feeling mildly queasy to suddenly projectile vomiting onto the floor.
It's a very stark contrast to Cyno, who'll be sitting on the bathroom floor for an hour waiting to just throw up.
- On the topic of contrasts to Cyno, Tighnari doesn't like camping out in the bathroom. If he's feeling like he might really throw up any moment, he'll get himself situated in front of the toilet, but he won't wait out the nausea on the bathroom floor like Cyno would. He'd much rather stay somewhere more comfortable and keep a bucket nearby in case it came to that.
- He sweats a lot when he throws up. When he's feverish or just straight up not feeling well he's already sweaty, but physically vomiting leaves him sweating bullets.
- He's very good about trying to stay hydrated when he's been throwing up, and will try several home remedies for nausea in an attempt to keep some fluids down.
- Recurring migraines mean nausea is unfortunately not anything new to him. Most of the times he's vomited in his life, it was from a migraine.
- If a migraine isn't behind whatever's making him nauseous, there's a good chance throwing up (especially repeatedly) will lead to him getting one, or just getting a really bad headache at the least.

Kaveh groaned loudly again, not-so-subtly demanding attention from his boyfriend. Alhaitham was under the impression that Kaveh was fine, just a little drunk and clingy. Turning his head towards his complaining lover resting on his shoulder, he set his book down. “What is it, Kaveh?” His soft voice betrayed the cold expression on his face.
“My stomach hurts, I… I hic! I don’t feel good,” Kaveh whined loudly. He pressed his face back into Alhaitham’s shoulder and wrapped his arms around him. Alhaitham sighed, opening his arms up to make room for Kaveh on his chest.
“Well, maybe you should think about that next time you attend the tavern without me,” he chided. He picked up his book and balanced it on Kaveh’s back so he could read whilst holding him. Kaveh groaned again in protest, seemingly wanting all of Alhaitham’s attention.
“You don’t… hic! You don’t even care that I’m... gonna throw up,” he mumbled loudly, stumbling over so many of his words that he was barely coherent.
“Yeah yeah, whatever…” Alhaitham placed a chaste kiss to the top of Kaveh’s head. “You said you’re going to throw up?” He questioned gently, setting the book down again. (To his dismay, of course.)
“Mhm…. Ate too much,” he whined. When Alhaitham didn't say anything, Kaveh continued. “After only a cooouple of drinks my stomach started to hurt, ‘cause I was empty other than beer… but.. but then I didn’t know when to stop ‘cause I felt funny,” he rambled. Alhaitham rubbed a hand across Kaveh’s back, making him release a deep breath. “I’m gonna throw up soon,” he repeated. Alhaitham sighed and pushed Kaveh off of him. He rose to his feet and lifted Kaveh under his arms like a child.
“Not on the couch.” He steadied Kaveh, which took a while as he wasn’t entirely willing to move. “Let’s go, you’re not puking in the living room. We both have work tomorrow, and I have no plans to stay up all night cleaning, nor do I have the intention to make you clean after yourself while drunk.” Alhaitham certainly wasn’t heartless. He basically dragged Kaveh to the bathroom and sat him down in front of the toilet. He carefully tied Kaveh’s hair up and took off his cape. The whole process was smooth and natural, it definitely wasn’t the first time Kaveh came home drunk.
“Mmm… ‘Haitham?” Kaveh whined quietly. Noticing the shift in volume, Alhaitham furrowed his brows. He nodded at Kaveh to continue. “Can I… have water?” He mumbled softly. Alhaitham blinked a few times before nodding again and standing up. When he returned with water, Kaveh hadn’t moved at all, but now his mouth was open. Head hung over the toilet bowl, his back arched slightly to keep his face closer to avoid a mess, Kaveh looked miserable. Alhaitham found this strange— usually when Kaveh was drunk, he would just vomit whenever and wherever. He seemed more aware than usual.
“Kaveh.” He crouched down beside him and handed him a cup of water. He watched carefully as he took a sip before hiccupping again. “You’re not drunk.” He said simply, not phrasing it as a question despite his uncharacteristic uncertainty.
“…. probably not, no,” Kaveh mumbled. He sighed heavily. Alhiatham knew that Kaveh always acted out of it when he was nauseous anyways, so his earlier clinginess and whining could easily be attributed to that feeling rather than being drunk, as he thought before. Alhaitham moved his hand to Kaveh’s back, just resting it there.
“You said you ate too much, you should probably let yourself throw up.” This made Kaveh flinch and shake his head.
“No, no… it can pass. I’ll feel better once it starts digesting,” he said, faux confidence evident in his tone. Alhaitham narrowed his eyes but decided not to argue. If Kaveh wanted to sit here and feel sick all night, that was not his fault. As Alhaitham started to his feet, Kaveh grabbed his arm. “Ah— where are you going?” He asked, looking genuinely confused. Alhaitham blinked a couple more times blankly at him.
“To bed. It’s late, and I offered you my help. Do you need anything more?” His voice was still a little softer than usual, but upon realizing that Kaveh was aware, it lost a bit of its previous sympathy.
“I… well, you usually stay, I was just.. uh, just wondering..” he trailed off, wanting to say more. He just looked at Alhaitham for a moment, trying his damndest to telepathically beg him to stay. Noticing Kaveh’s yearning gaze, Alhaitham sat back down. Kaveh looked a little embarrassed but muttered out a small “thanks” anyways.
“You’ve never come home sick from overeating before,” Alhaitham murmured, placing his hand on Kaveh’s back again. He leaned into Alhaitam’s touch and closed his eyes, the gentle comfort momentarily soothing his nausea. “What happened tonight?”
“Like I said, I started drinking on an empty stomach… I didn’t want to come home sick, you have to leave early tomorrow,” Kaveh began, his eyes starting to water from the discomfort. “I—I really wanted to prevent myself from getting sick, so I ate a bunch of food to counteract it— “he’s cut off by a heave, lurching over the toilet bowl. Alhaitham quickly places his other hand over Kaveh’s torso to keep him from hitting himself against the wall.
“That’s a poorly thought-out idea. That’s not how that works,” Alhaitham muttered, watching Kaveh expel the contents of his stomach. He coughed and spit into the bowl, flushing away his own vomit. He turned to Alhaitham looking pale and sweaty, but also hurt.
“I was trying to do you a favor! I didn’t want you to deal with this!” He turned back towards the toilet and covered his mouth, his body jerking. To his surprise, Alhaitham gently shushed him.
“You shouldn’t be avoiding sickness for my sake, Kaveh. You should’ve been trying to prevent it for your own well-being.” The words were strangely sweet in some sort of way. He started to rub Kaveh’s back up and down. The motion was a little awkward, but it’s clear that the intention was pure. This answer did seem to soothe Kaveh a bit, as he wiped the saliva from his mouth and sniffled. Alhaitham could tell that Kaveh wasn’t lying— he was throwing up a lot. He didn't catch a break for a good few minutes, but when he finally did, he still looked dazed.
“Don't feel good,” Kaveh whimpered pathetically, placing his own hand on his stomach. Alhaitham softly shushed him again, this time kissing his temple.
“I know, I can tell.” Kaveh just scoffed at this while trembling on the floor. He started to lean against the wall but Alhaitham tugged him closer so he’d rest on his shoulder instead. “That was a lot… you should be empty,” he reasoned softly.
“Yeah I should… but I’m definitely not.” Kaveh dry heaved a couple times and Alhaitham stood up. He wiped the vomit from Kaveh’s lips with a tissue before tossing it into the vomit-filled toilet and flushing it all away.
“Nothing else is coming up, we’re going to bed.” Alhaitham held out his hands for Kaveh to get up, but he just shook his head and slumped back against the toilet.
“No… I’m not done, I’m still nauseous,” Kaveh protested weakly.
“Of course you’re still nauseous, you only just stopped puking. However, you threw up a borderline unfathomable amount. And you’re dry heaving. You’re empty, Kaveh. Let’s go.” Kaveh begrudgingly allowed Alhaitham to pull him up and walk to bed. It was rare that Alhaitham spoke in such a soft and gentle tone, Kaveh couldn’t help but secretly enjoy the sweet side of Alhaitham that appeared when Kaveh was sick. “Lay your head down Kaveh, you’re meeting a client tomorrow, remember?”
Truthfully, Kaveh had forgotten. A tiny smile formed on his face. “Of course I remember, but why do you remember that?” Kaveh’s tone was slightly teasing, his eyes following Alhaitham as he laid beside him. He scooted towards Alhaitham, nuzzling his head into the crook of his neck.
“Because you wouldn’t stop complaining about it this morning. It was aggravating, I didn’t remember intentionally.” That was a lie and both of them knew it, but neither expressed it. Alhaitham felt Kaveh’s lips graze his skin as he smiled, face still mushed into Alhaitham’s neck.
“That cannot possibly be true,” he muttered. Ignoring his own remark, Alhaitham pulled Kaveh tighter to his chest. He wrapped his arms around him, allowing him to hide his face. Kaveh gave no response other than a hum.
“…. sleep, Kaveh. I’ll see you in the morning.”

Kaveh shifted around for what felt like the hundredth time in five minutes— he couldn’t get comfortable. The sickening full feeling returned to his stomach, and he wasn’t happy about it. Alhaitham was sound asleep, and he looked too peaceful to be bothered awake just because Kaveh’s stomach hurt. As much as he wanted comfort, he couldn’t possibly do that to Alhaitham. Even though Kaveh was half asleep, his earlier actions started to resonate. Kaveh cringed at himself, realizing how “pathetic and clingy” he had been acting. Turning over once more, he suddenly felt a pair of strong arms tug him hard. He gasped, but realized it was his lover. Alhaitham’s eyes were barely open, and he looked confused and half asleep.
“Stop moving, sleep…” he grumbled, his voice a little rough with sleep. Kaveh couldn’t stop the heat on his face from arising at the sound of his voice this early— well, late. The sun hadn’t even begun to show its colors in the sky yet. It was pitch-black outside. However, in the dim light from the moon Alhaitham caught a glimpse of Kaveh’s face. He blinked a few times and slowly sat up, flicking their lamp on. Kaveh flinched and covered his eyes. “You’re really pale,” he whispered tiredly. He sleepily placed a hand on Kaveh’s forehead, but his temperature seemed fine.
Kaveh bit his lip. He didn’t want to be a hassle anymore, but Alhaitham had already woken up… there was no use in lying, besides, Kaveh really wanted comfort at the moment. “Yeah, I’m still nauseous.” Kaveh sighed and closed his eyes, not wanting to deal with his own body.
“Still?” Kaveh nodded. He heard the sound of rustling when he suddenly felt hands on his shoulders. He jumped a bit as he opened his eyes and saw Alhaitham leaning over him. “Kaveh, habibi… we should move back to the bathroom,” he whispered, his voice still raspy. Kaveh audibly swallowed at the term of endearment being spoken in such an attractive way. He shook his head, though. Alhaitham narrowed his eyes at this. “Yes. I’ve never seen you this pale, even when you’ve had high fevers. Come on, get up.”
As soon as Kaveh’s knees touched the floor in front of the toilet, he violently heaved up a massive amount of vomit. He coughed and sputtered, not even bothering to look up at Alhaitham. He felt him crouch down and place a caring hand on his back, but he was too sick to say anything. Luckily his hair was still tied up from earlier, but little stray pieces stuck out here and there. Alhaitham gently swept them out of Kaveh’s face as he prepared to vomit again.
This lasted for a couple of hours, and there was no sign of letting up. Alhaitham was sort of impressed by the amount of food Kaveh managed to choke down. He didn’t see him eating, but considering the amount of puke filling the toilet, it was no small feat. This was going to be a long, long night.

him drinking a whole mug of her awful horrifyingly strong coffee and then ending up holed up in the archives with a sore, angrily gurgling tummy, getting distracted from his data bank work by how burpy and upset and swollen his poor stomach got just from drinking one cup of that coffee
and then when he feels better he goes and asks her for another cup to continue improving his grit or whatever 😌

Lyney's eyes and nose gets runny very easily when he's sick, especially when he's throwing up. And you just know he definitely wears a lot of make-up on a daily basis, so it ends up smudged and smeared everywhere, so he looks even more miserable than he already is.
