I love Sam and Daniel as an example of two people that are nerds together even though they aren't nerds about the same thing Sam isn't crazy interested in egyptology and Daniel isn't crazy interested in astrophysics but they still listen to each other ramble because they understand how it feels to be So Into something that you just HAVE to talk about it - I also like to imagine that because of this, they both become rather knowledgeable on each other's respective study, not like they're experts or anything but more like they know a bunch of random facts and concepts that would really surprise people.
