So we did an exercise at work called “Superheroes” where first we wrote what we thought our superpower was then you sent the paper around the room and they write down your superpower. I wrote “FUNNY” as what I thought my superpower was and after getting it back I had all these nice things that my coworkers said about me, but one...just one really stood out and made me want to cry and that was “Confident”. Idk which coworker it was, but it shook me to my core to find out that one person thought I was confident. I have never once been confident. I guess my mask is firmly in place and I’m not sure if I should be proud or crestfallen.

I really don’t want to bother you, but sometimes I really really wish I lived closer. Wish I had let Him walk out that one day forever a go when I lived in my mall apartment in that little Midwest town. I wouldn’t have nights like tonight where I’m just really sad and miserably depressed and thinking about the baby I should’ve chose over him. Sometimes I’m ok but I’m not alright and I’m not fine and sometimes I just really don’t want to exist. I want to be having my baby this June instead of remembering the sound of my baby being taken from my body. That phantom pain that I will never be able to forget. I don’t know if I can ever truly be happy and I have no one to blame but myself for not being strong enough to walk away when I had the chance.
