3. Scoring

Once the game has ended final score points have to be added to the live score. On average this causes deviations of around 21%, so players should be encouraged to not neglect their limbo in the early stages (explained later).

The first thing to check is whether the match ended in squashflam. This awards two points. The next most important thing to check is whether it was an accidental squashflam. If so, the winning party may choose to waive the squashflam. This will not award any extra points, but may be useful later during the management phase.

With that out of the way, the three phase folding sequence may begin. Phase 1: In order of last action, each player must void their remaining hand. Is a card unvoidable, it stays in limbo. Points are awarded as usual. Phase 2: For each card in limbo, move it two steps. This counts towards your score. Turn over the card or resurrect it. If you have at least one card in limbo, you gain an indirect token. Phase 3: Count the rings attached to your figurines. Liphic rings give twice the points now. Aliophic rings can optionally be turned into direct tokens.

Your deck is now considered folded. You may play any final tokens or stuck hand cards now. The rest of the scoring takes place in the usual 3:2 rule set. Score tables are included in the appendix. Keep in mind that a folded deck is also considered closed and drawing any more cards at this point is generally discouraged, although sometimes technically still valid.
