Teach People How to Love You
1. Show them how you love yourself. This is not selfish or self-absorbed. Loving yourself opens the gateway to your own happiness
2. Write your own story.
Your story is yours, what you want to be known for, remembered for, how you want yourself to be seen. Make your story the most important thing to you, and surround yourself with people who inspire you to keep writing.
3. Live your own life.
Don’t live for other people, affirmation is a drug. You get hooked on it and eventually can’t live without it. The problem with it is that if we rely on it we start doing the things other people want us to do instead of what we’re passionate about. Live your life for you and be a gift to the people around you, not because you have to be but because you want to be.
apologies are pointless to me now. change your ways or get the fuck outta my way.

We are all a people in need. We are not perfect. We are not machines. We make mistakes. We need grace. We need compassion. We need help at times. We need other people. And that's okay.
— Jamie Tworkowski
She was beautiful, but not like those girls in the magazines. She was beautiful, for the way she thought. She was beautiful, for the sparkle in her eyes when she talked about something she loved. She was beautiful, for her ability to make other people smile even if she was sad. No, she wasn't beautiful for something as temporary as her looks. She was beautiful, deep down to her soul.
— F. Scott Fitzgerald
“I used to think the worst thing in life was to end up all alone. It’s not. The worst thing in life is to end up with people who make you feel all alone.”
— Robin Williams (via quotefeeling)
“Value yourself. The only people who appreciate a doormat are people with dirty shoes.”
— Leo F. Buscaglia (via quotefeeling)
“Things look different when seen in a different light. So look at them in the light of happiness.”
