Bubbamiah is iconic, but NGAAG was how I found and started watching SFTH, so they’ll always be my first thought when you bring up queer rep and sfth in the same breath. That being said, seeing bubbamiah for the first time was, like, I almost started crying. Because in the newer ones, they’re doing queer rep, and they know their (pretty big now) audience, and they joke about us only being there to see them kiss, and that’s fun! But the mysterious cube is *so early*, i was taken aback, because these guys have always been fucking awesome. It’s like, finding your favorite authors early work, and not only does it still hold up, it’s fantastic! And progressive! And idk, I got kinda teary-eyed.

Sorry for the rant, but you posted about bubbamiah so I had to explain why I think they’re wonderful. (The story in-universe is awesome too, but the meta-reasons are what make them special in this regard)
