Favorite movie of all times: The Lion King

Should I really write why? Those characters, the images, the music, everything was perfect for me, even Mufasa’s dead. I know, that’s a bad thing to say, but without it Simba wouldn’t become that awesome king that he is or was.

Di you realised that two males raised a baby? And he became king, what an awesome movie. Give Disney a cookie, please.

Best Voice EVER!!!

Have you ever heard a voice so beautiful that calm change your current mood? I have. I never tell that I am fan of this singer because probably people would be like “What’s your favorite song?”, “Do you have all his CD’s?”, “Did you know his history or went to any of his concerts?”. I have to admit, I won’t be capable of give the answer they expect. The reason? I’m just in love with his voice, no matter what he sang, no matter if it’s his own song or a cover, I will love it. I don’t have his CD’s basically because the only thing that I use to listen music are my phone and computer, and by that I mean youtube. And I have never been into one of his concerts because money, that’s why. People these days will make stupids comments if I give them my reasons so I preffer to keep Michael Buble as my guilty pleasure.

Have you hear him sing? I have seen a couple (a lot) of his live performances and OMG, how can he sing so beautiful? His voice is so soft, so relaxin, so freaking perfect. If I have to do homework I have to play his songs, it’s like a rule for me.

Needing another episode: The Walking Dead

I am so much more obsessed of this TV show than I am of NETFLIX.

Few years ago, on Summer Holidays, one of my cousins downloaded a show that at that time haven’t watched. I was a little bit scared because of what my classmate used to say: Scary zombies, too much blood and stuff. I accepted my cousin invitation to watching, I mean, what bad thing could happen... Right? Well something did happen, I became obsessed. Obsessed like I need to watch every season after the current last season end. Obsessed like I bough a channel so I could watch the new episode when is premiered on the US.

At the moment this show is in his 7th season. I waited so many time for this. I love every single episode, it doesn’t matter if other finds it boring. I suffered so much when Negan killed Abraham and Glenn. I screamed and almost cry. Just why they needed to kill them? I don’t care that happened in the comic, they could have made something different and pretty for once. Sad.

Oh, and for your information, for those who say that this is a stupid zombie show. It is not, it is mainly about how people survive on a zombie apocalipse, and how they have to fight with other people that went bananas. That is why they say “Fight the dead, Fear the living”.

Current obsession: NETFLIX

God bless Reed Hastings and Marc Randolph, those intelligent men created one of the most useful things that internet has, NETFLIX.

In case you don’t know what NETFLIX is, well, first of all, Under what rock do you leave? Ok, so, this is a page where a huge quantity of films, TV shows and documentals are. Of course, to acces to everything you have to pay. I’m from Chile and if I’m not wrong you have to pay 6,700 pesos approximately. Fortunately, I don’t have to pay, because I use my brother in law account.

I have to admit that sometimes I really hate NETFLIX, everytime I’m trying to study or do my homework, this thing calls me and of course, I can’t say no, so I start to watch just few episodes of a show, or a movie or two... I think I’m literally obsess, please help me.

At the moment I been watching like four or five different show, such as American Horror Story (Again) and Pokémon. Oh, my gosh, they have Pokémon first season, they should have more, but it’s something.

Disturbed by Sausage Party

*SPOILERS*

Have you ever feel like ‘’What did I just watch’’ after watching a movie? Because I did, several times, but this movie was different. Oh my gosh, it is so freaking disturbing. I was still working at the cinema when this movie came out in my country, it was with a restriction “No one under 14 can watch this movie, no matter if he/she came with his/her parents”. Thanks to the restriction me and my co-workers gained a lot of insults from the customers. At first I thought the cinema was overreacting, I mean is food. So, after almost two weeks I sat in front of my computer and started watching it.. Oh my gosh(x2)

A lot of food start singing to the “gods” on a supermarket so they give them a good life in the afterlife. Most of the song has a double meaning. When the song finished, there is this pack of male sausages and other pack of female buns, they start a conversation that ends with a sex talking. They literally show a sausage and a bun touching their hands (Yes, they have hands and tiny legs) like if they were having sex.

The film has forced comedy that will make you laugh a couple times and that’s it. Everything it’s sexualized. The plot has nothing new. Voice actors were ok, most of them really famous. And the end of the movie is the most stupid thing ever, all the food started having sex with literally everything for no reason.

There is people that actually enjoyed the film, but I think it deserves one star out of five or less.

If you die and didn’t watch Sausage Party, you didn’t miss anything, don’t worry.

I love her

This post won’t be like the other ones that I have posted. This time I will like to take a moment to appreciate my beautiful dog.

Her name is Princesa, which means princess in spanish, I know, sooo original. I didn’t pick her name. In my family there is a tradition, when we have a new pet every member must write a name in a piece of paper and then put it in a hat. After every paper is in the hat, my dad or my mom has to take a piece of paper and the name that is on it is the name the pet will have. Well, this wasn’t an exception, so, my dad pick the paper and that was the name that was on it, coincidentially he wrote it...

Even though she doesn’t represent it, she is almost 9 years old. She looks so young. She really loves to jump and play with her toys, specially those that make noises every time she bites them. When she was younger she used to pose everytime I took a picture.

Years ago I had a hamster, one day I noticed that the hamster wasn’t in his house, so I started crying. My mom tried to comfort me and as joke she asked the dog where the hamster was, my dog wave her tale and walked where her house was and just started to look behind it. My mom and I looked at each other and went where the dog pointed. We where in shock, the hamster was there (alive BTW). We don’t how she understood, but she did, and I’m glad of it.

This is a secret that nobody knows. When I’m alone I start to cry by thinking how old is she, I know that someday she won’t be awake, she won’t wave her tail anymore. Someday she will be asleep forever and no matter how many time pass, I will neve be prepared for that situation. I want her to live forever with me.

Expelled

*WARNING* This post contains spoilers

A few days ago my brother in law bought a Netflix account, so he gave me his data so I was able to use the account to (By the way, my sister and his sister has his data too, don’t think anything weird). At the moment I was able to get into the account, I started looking for movies or shows to watch, of course. I never thought there were so many films, at one point I got bored just by looking for something. Ok, so after a while I found this movie created by Netflix, Expelled, I read the review and even though it didn’t catch my attention I decided to watch it.

I’m thinking and I can’t find anything good to say about this movie. Is the typical American movie about a bad student that has no good grades and spend his time making jokes to everyone. This time, this guy is expelled from highschool because of his jokes. He ask for help to his ex-girlfriend and friend. He met a girl. And after everything bad he did, he is able to comeback to school after blackmailing the principal, and that’s it... Well basically. There is nothing more you need to know, nothing relevant.

The actors were so horrible, too overreacted. I think it is because most of them weren’t real actors but a bunch of internet celebrities that make vines or youtube videos. I was a really bad story for a movie, so cliché. I feel like I wasted more than an hour of my life. I should stop watching it after, like, 20 minutes. If you have the opportunity, don’t watch this film. Totally zero out of five.

Out of my mind

*WARNING THIS POST CONTAINS A LOT OF SPOILERS*

Out of my mind is a book written by Sharon M. Draper. I can’t remembhen I saw the cover of the book for the first time that made me feel like I need to read it. Yes, I first see the cover of a book and the decided if I read it or not by reading the back cover.

I had this novel as a present from my uncle and aunt for my 21st birthday because they read my book list. I was so excited to start my new lecture that a few days later I began the story.

The novel is narrated in first person by Melody, an eleven year old girl that suffers cerebral palsy, this is why she can talk or make almost any conciousness movement with her body, sometimes she can control her hands. She tells her life since she had conscience of it. Her parents always treat her like a babyand sometimes she will love to tell them that stop doing it, she is not a baby anymore, but obviously, she can’t. Of course, she know her parents love her and that that’s the reason they treat her in that way.

I remember that at one point her mom took her to the Doctor so he can tell them how Melody’s condition is so far. He makes questions and ask her to do some movements or put some blocks in a specific place. Melody knew the answer of every question and also knew where to put the blocks, she said everything on her mind, but she wasn’t able to move her body, in fact, her body moved by itself and made the wrong answers, it was so frustating. It was worst when the Doctor told her mom that Melody was profoundly retarded. No matter what the Doctor said, her mom let her go to a school.

When Melody started school was horrible, of course she wasn’t popular or had any friend, after a whiler Rose started talking to her. I have to say that even her teachers treated her good, one specifically, trated her like a retard. As Melody was so smart, her parents with the help of a foundation were able to buy her a machine that talked, something like what Stephen Hawking has. Thanks to that machine she was able to take an exam and had the best score, after that she went to a contest with a group of classmates and won, they won thanks to her. The prize was a trophy and be on a famous TV show. The day they had to travel to the city where the final was going to be, nobody told Melody that the time was changed, so she missed the contest. Oh, my gosh, I swear I hated all of them, and their parents, and their teacher, and Rose, her “friend”. Melody was so sad, ugh. The kids lose, they lose because they didn’t have Melody, their best member. When Melody returned to school the ‘’team’’ decided to give her the losers trophy, Melody looked at them and say that she didn’t deserve it, because it was a trophy for the losers (she said something like that), after that she broke the stupid thing and left the class like a total badass.

This book is completely amazing, despite the fact that probably will make you cry like a baby, well that is mostly why it is amazing. It makes you feel everything that Melody feels, when she is sad, frustrated, angry, happy. I totally recommend this book, you would not regret nothing.

Just for the record, I stil hate those stupid fictional kids and teacher.

This is probably just another dumb post, but, you should stop whatever you are doing and just appreciate this pixelated surfing Pikachu.

Why do hashtags exist?

I have no idea why, but I really, really hate hashtaghs. I think that are useless things that people can write under their pictures like if you didn’t already see it (#Family #DuckFace #Dog #Life). I mean, do you really have to write meaningless words with a hashtag after everything? Everything looks so ridiculous with those stupid things, and it is worst when you use them to have more likes on your photo or comment, I mean, seriously, WHY?

I would like to meet the person that invented this useless thing just to slap his face with a chair.

Favorite Game of the Month: Rise of the Tomb Raider

This game was released in November 2015. This game is about Lara Croft, a girl that goes to Siberia because she wants to do a research about a legendary city called Kitezh, while trying to do the research, she has to fight a oaramilitary organization that intends on beating her to the city’s promise of immortality.

I read that since it came out has had many good critics, mostly because of the gameplay, the graphics and the characterization, which only gave me even more desire to play it.

I started to play this game abut a week ago when I went to my sister’s house. I have to say that I loved the game since the first moment I started playing it. It is completely different from the first game, this time Lara is more badass than before and has many skills. It is always awesome to play a game that do not show a girl as a defenceless human being. I have to admit that I spent more hours playing than I should, but I regret nothing. I totally recommend this game. I think it is a 5 out of 5.

Why are we fighting for others people’s life?

This is what I think about some people’s argument about why we should not let women abort the kid they do not want.

1. We do not erase a rape by killing a child.

So, basically those women have to raise a child that was made from a traumatic situation. Maybe they would not erase the rape by aborting the kid, but the memories will be alive along with that baby. It is known that some women had the babies and loved them, but that does not mean that every person will be capable of the same.

2. It can harm women.

This argument should not even exist. If abortion was legal everywhere, doctors would tell women what could happen if they abort, after becoming aware, they should decide what to do.

3. It avoids responsibility.

So? It should not matter the reason a woman have to abort, it is her life. Who is going to take care of an unwanted kid? If every person that obligate a women have a child she does not want will help her to raise it or even better, keep the baby, all the problems would ve solved, but no, people just critize the person and do not help at all. In my opinion, the only reason why a woman should have a baby that she does not want is that the father keep the baby just if he wants it.

4. It takes innocent lives.

Then it is better that the baby lives in a orphanage almost all his life or even better with a family that does not want him and that probably will mistreat him.

Why I like working in a cinema

About 4 month ago, I started working in a cinema, despite some things that I don’t like, there are many that make me love working there. Here are four things that I love of working in a cinema.

1. The staff

This is my first job, so at first I was scarred. I thought people would be mean or they will dislike me, but it was the opposite. On my first day of work, the people were incredibly kind to me, I was totally amazed. They taught me everything, what I have to do, where I have to go. Now thanks to all that grat people, I wait everyday just to go working.

2. Popcorn

Just because I work at the cinema, I am able to get free popcorn. Sometimes I feel that I will get diabetes just for smelling those sweet little things.

3. Free movies

Just like the popcorn, just for working at the cinema, I get free tickets to see any movie that I want, and sometimes I don’t even have to use those tickets, because the staff let me watch the movies just for knowing me. Oh, and when a new movie arrives, we can watch it before anyone else.

4. Mechandise

Each time an expected film will premiere, like civil war or star wars, merchandise is sent to the cinema. It can be anything, t-shirts, stickers, keychains; and when that happen, we can keep those things, obviousy not all of them, but it’s something.

3 books you should read...

...According to me.

One of the most thing I like to do when I am not sleeping or eating, is to read. I have not read a huge variety of books like other people, but I have read some that I really enjoyed, so, here is a short list with the books I think someone else should read to.

1. Percy Jackson and the lightning thief

The first time I heard about this book, was after I watched the movie. At first, I did not wanted to read it, because of the movie, but I read it anyways, and OMG it was amazing. I know that movies and books are most of the time different from each other, but I still was impressed after that awesome book.

Ok, the story is about a teenager, named Percy, that discovers he is a Demigod. He is the son of one of the three main Gods, Poseidon, the god of the seas. Percy is sent to a camp for kids like him, The Camp Half-Blood where he met Anabeth, daughter of Athena. With her help and the help of his best friend, Grover, the satyr, Percy will have to found the person who stole the lighting of Zeus. In his adventure, not only he will have to travel around the U.S. but will fight with Ares, the God of war, and do more thing I cannot tell because there are already too much spoilers.

2. The fault in ours stars

Ok, you have probably read this book. I have to admit that I did it many time before the movie came out, but, whatever. I swear, never before I cried while reading something, it made me look like a baby. It is such a beautiful story that after you started reading you won’t be able to stop.

If you don’t know, it is about a girl that has cancer and is obligated to go to see a support group, with people that has the same problems. In that place she met a boy that really change her life. It is like she started to live again. Hazel, the main character, has always have this dream of meeting her favourite writer, so Gus, the guy she met, wil help her to make her dream come true. I promise the story will melt your heart and make you love and hate every part of the book.

3. Cycle of the Werewolf

Before this, I had never read a Stephen King’s book. It is a really short story, but, it got me since the first page. I can’t find the words to explain how awesome he is as a writer. He didn’t just wrote about a werewolf, he made researches just to set his story with real dates where there was a full moon and things like that. I only can say, read it.

Why I hate Pokémon GO

Literally, since I have memory I have been a super fan of Pokémon, I used to watched it all the time on tv, I had books, cards, figures, everything! - Over the years I kept loving this nonexistent little things, but wasn’t till Pokémon GO appeared that I started to doubt what I really felt. At first, when the game was just an announcement of what the will be, but when it came out it disappointed me. To summarize what I think, here is a list with the 5 things taht I found most annoying about the game.

1. The battles.

How I am supposed to catch a Pokémon by just throwing a pokeball at it? What is this? Te zafari zone version or what? To catch a Pokémon you have to battle with it. It is like the purpose of the game... Oh, I can’t battle against other people either. Really, what happened here, Niantic?

2. Pokémon exchange

I saw the commercial of Pokémon Go many, many times to realize that the people in the video exchange to each other the awesome Pokémon they caught, but it was a completely lie. The only thing you can do it’s transfer those little monster to a new Pokémon professor that I’ve never seen before.

3. Battery

The game is so heavy that it can be played not as much time as it should. Come on, I waited for 20 years to catch a Pokémon in my life, I should be able to enjoy it more than two hours... Right?

4. Evolutions

Candies, really? I need candies to evolve my Pokémons. Right, like there is no real battles where you can gain experience, you have to catch many Pokémon from the same species to evolve it.

5. I can’t stop

Among the appointed points and some more, the one that I hate the most is that even with all those failures, I can’t stop playing this stupid game. I don’t get it but it is so addictive that sometimes I thingk that I need help.
