oh my god. after reading sunrise on the reaping I just realized something. In the first half of catching fire, Snow tells Katniss that she had to ‘convince’ him that she was truly in love with Peeta. However, she doesn’t manage to.

But I always found that odd. like, in the arena, all the rest of the tributes could easy tell that Katniss was heavily emotionally dependent on Peeta- in fact, that’s why all of them are so hell-bent on saving Peeta’s life for the revolution.

So how come everyone else saw how much Katniss loved him, but Snow didn’t?

AND THEN the answer to that can be found in sotr!!!

Can we please acknowledge the "Women have the hots for Luigi, x amount of women showed up to support him, x amount of women are protesting for him purely because he's hot!" as the misogynistic red herring it is? There are plenty of men showing up in support but the media is focusing on the women because they take you for a fucking idiot, and they take those women for fools too.
