Today is a special day.
Each year I wish I could spend it with you.
As a friend or more, I wouldn’t care, I’d just want to be next to you.
I couldn’t wait for this day to come. The day before, I would make your favourite cake for you with your name on it. I would buy something that would be special for the both of us. Something that if you saw, you would definitely think only of me. I would text you at midnight because I’d want to be the first one who reminds you how important you are, how many people love you. You would thank me and go to sleep, while I couldn’t wait for the morning. My first thing to do would be to surprise you. I would wait for you in front of your door because I would know you were jogging like always. You would be sweaty and tired but you would still invite me in. While you would be taking a shower, I would prepar everything. The cake, the balloons and your present. You would be expecting this but you would still act surprised because you would know it would make me happy so do you. We would eat the cake together and I’d record how you open your little gift. You would instantly hug me tight, kiss my cheeks, saying thanks for all of this. I wouldn’t care anything but your beautiful smile which would be brighter than ever. You would invite me to your friends place, we would go together. They would orginase something even more bigger than me. Bigger party, bigger cake, bigger presents. But you wouldn’t care. You would still tell them how I surprised you, you would be still showing them the gift I gave you. Because I would mean something to you. You wouldn’t just say, someone made my day. You would say that she made your day.
