Do not quench my fire, do not put it out.
And so, as the weather changes, so does life. The hustle and bustle came to a cease, and now it shall pick up again. Loneliness settles in like a blanket over a child being tucked into bed. Nights spent falling asleep with the love of her life have come to a halt. The bumblebee must go back in full motion, taking care of the duties that lie before her. No longer can she think of herself, but think of the end result, victory over a huge challenge. New challenges await this young one coming with the new semester: filling out scholarships, applying to online schooling, checking out another college and preparing to do paperwork and such to switch to a new location. This change will not be easy to make, however, it will be better for the two of them in the future. Negative comments make exciting things hard to deal with, the beauty in love is quench by their critical flame. The flower cannot bloom to its full potential, leaving the bud decrepit and lifeless. Dreams are put to the test, and desire and drive are put on hold. How can society be so critical? From I promise, to I will, the commitment becomes stronger but the amount of people against them is beyond imaginable. Those who support keep their flame alive, giving hope. Hope is a beautiful thing.
You may say I'm a dreamer,
but I'm not the only one.
I hope someday you'll join us,
and the world will live as one.
I believe that imagination is stronger than knowledge. That myth is more potent than history. That dreams are more powerful than facts. That hope always triumphs over experience. That laughter is the only cure for grief. And I believe that love is stronger than death.
These do not come from my pen nor my lips but come from my heart. Like others I too believe, I dream, I hope. Do not quench my fire, do not put it out. For unlike you and others, I dream without a doubt.
