Bibleverse of the day.
He faced all this for you, for you to be loved, blessed, glorified, exalted, satisfied, accepted, freed and resurrected.
“Therefore, repent and turn to God, so that your sins may be erased”
— Acts 3:19
Who told you that?
After the fall, Adam began to explain to God how he was ashamed and afraid because he was naked.
I love the way God responded:
“Who told you that you were naked?”
Genesis 3:11.
Obviously Adam had been influenced, informed and instructed by a voice other than the voice of God. God was perturbed about it!
“You think you need to hide in shame and be afraid?
Who told you that?”I wonder how many times God has the same objection when He hears the lies we believe:
Who told you weren’t capable?
Who told you one little compromise wouldn’t hurt?
Who told you you’d never accomplish anything significant?
Who told you it was too late to start over?
Who told you that you couldn’t be forgiven?
Who told you that you had to settle for that?
Who told you you’d never gain victory over that sin pattern?
So many voices compete to create a cacophony of confusion concerning the things we believe about ourselves.
God’s voice resonates with clarity, wisdom, and vision.
Who misled you?
Who talked you out of your dream?
Who convinced you that you didn’t measure up?
- Steven Furtick
Give Christ all your bitterness, anger, pity, disgust, contempt, hypocritical nature. Give Him all things. The good and the ugly.
He will not, can not, does not look away. He embraces you and looks at you, fully, wholly. All pretences and façades undone.
He sees you. His Child. His Beloved Child.
I’ve learned that God sends you what you need, not what you want.
heal. your mom may never apologize to you, because she has conditioned herself to believe that she did right by you. she hasn't healed. heal anyway. your father may never apologize to you, because he can only see what he's done right. he hasn't healed. your family members may never apologize to you, because toxicity is what they were raised on. they haven't healed. heal anyway. that "friend" may never apologize to you, because he/she isn't sorry. he/she hasn't healed. if/when they reach their healing, they may seek your forgiveness. be so healed that it won't even matter. heal for you. you owe yourself that much.
heavenly father,
i come before you with a humble heart, asking for your divine protection over my life. surround me with your light and shield me from all harm, negativity, and obstacles that may try to stand in my way. lord, open the doors meant for me—doors of opportunity, growth, and success. let no hindrance block my path, and may every step i take be guided by your wisdom and favor. bless me with good health, strength, and vitality. let my body be a vessel of your grace, free from illness and filled with energy to pursue the purpose you have for me. grant me prosperity in all areas of my life. let my efforts bear fruit, my work be blessed, and my financial needs be met in abundance. fill my life with unexpected blessings, and may luck and favor follow me wherever i go. thank you, lord, for your endless love, mercy, and guidance. i trust in your perfect timing and plan for my life. in jesus name, amen.
“The Lord will perfect that which concerns me; Your mercy, O Lord, endures forever; Do not forsake the works of Your hands.”
Psalms 138:8 NKJV
everything i’ve been through was training for the life i’m about to step into. i took every hit, every setback, every moment they counted me out — and i turned it into fuel. i was built in the fire, and now i’m untouchable. i’ve been resilient when i had every reason to break, and i came back sharper, stronger, and hungrier. this next chapter? it’s mine. the blessings that are lining up for me can’t be blocked, delayed, or stolen. no one can stop what God has already stamped with my name.
this is my season and i’m not leaving empty-handed.
