I wouldn't be a very spiritual man, right? I don't believe in God, right? Still Catholic. Because there's nothing you can do when you're Catholic. Once you've started Catholic, frankly, there's no real way to stop being Catholic. Even not believing in God isn't regarded as sufficient reason to get out of the Catholic church. You'd think it'd be fairly fundamental to the whole thing, but no. Catholicism: the stickiest, most adhesive religion in the world.

You can nap anywhere if you try hard enough, but I def wouldn’t recommend the subway.
[mask] The seats are usually disgusting, for one. How're you doing, tattoo guy?
this is not a story about forgiveness
[pm] I fucked up. There's someone after me. What the hell do I d-- [message promptly deleted and not sent]
My flight back to Gotham got delayed.
Happy freakin’ New Year, Gotham.
[mask] You really want to get back to Gotham that badly? Prison breakout can't scare you away?

Chatlog: Nemesis & Oracle
Oracle: Your contact was Sutton, I take it. Why did you refer to her in the past tense?
Oracle: Thank you for the information. If this Big Brother is as capable as you say they are, an undercover agent would take a long time to build convincingly, and even then would struggle to remain undetected. It will be considered, but time is not something we have currently. I will be in contact again soon. In the meantime, is there anything I can assist you with?
Nemesis: She has deleted her account and is no doubt using another. I can't consider her a contact any longer.
Nemesis: If you think it's too difficult that's fine. Do you have any information on a group known as Basilisk?
Chatlog: Nemesis & Oracle
Oracle: Having evidence of having communicated with me endangers us both, and knowing my name isn't crucial to this conversation, so no, not yet. You approached Batgirl with the intention of sharing intel, has that changed? We may be able to help each other.
Nemesis: No, it has not.
Nemesis: An anonymous figure known as Big Brother organized the release of Hellhound.
Nemesis: Roxy Rocket was contacted by Chifford and then Big Brother who provided her with the necessary information. Namely, co-ordinates. The wrong co-ordinates. They crossed her and used her as the distraction for the real extraction, which I'm sure you figured out already. I assume that's why Chifford originally contacted her. I doubt his online interactions go unmonitored.
Nemesis: As for Big Brother, I know little. He apparently contacts people anonymously and threatens you into doing what he wants. Which means that anyone could be helping him. Anyone with people they care about. I assume this broadens your search for whoever was involved in the real extraction. I asked for copies of what Big Brother sent Roxy Rocket, but they've been wiped from her computer. Whoever Big Brother is, they've got a coding arsenal as strong as yours. And is just as anonymous as you. With as many connections.
Nemesis: But what interested me the most is that Big Brother, apparently, contacts villains to recruit them. An undercover agent could level the playing field for the vigilante heroes of Gotham. I would be a perfect candidate if this route was pursued.
Chatlog: Nemesis & Oracle
Oracle: You assume correctly. How did you know about the break out so soon?
Nemesis: You know my name, do I get to know yours? You've put considerable effort into obstructing my ability to prove this conversation is even happening. I understand you don't trust me, but I don't exactly trust you either.
Nemesis: I had a contact. I also know who was behind the breakout.
Chatlog: Nemesis & Oracle
[As Nemesis is working on his computer, he receives a message seemingly from Batgirl. As soon as he clicks on the notification to read it, an Instant messaging chatlog downloads and opens onto his screen. Screenprint or screen recording will only record a blank space on the screen, and taking photos using a camera or phone will be similarly ineffective. When the messages come through, no name is attached to them, keeping Oracle anonymous. The chat box will not show up on any form of taskmanager, and while he is welcome to attempt to decode or trace it, he won't have much success.]
Oracle: I was informed that you have information for me.
Nemesis: I assume I am speaking to Batgirl's "guy"? Impressive chat box.
