"Mac 'n cheese?"

"That’s what I mean, don’t scratch at it or give into it." 

   ”So, favorite meal?”

"Why?  's not like something bad's going to happen if I do... right?"

"Well don’t go scratching at it." 

   ”Give it some time, let your strength build back up. Which probably requires food, instead of.. Have you eaten anything besides hospital food?”

"I dunno how to scratch it.  Makes me sort of feel like taking off 'n going for a run in the woods, though."

"No... well, at least I don't think so."

   ”If that’s all, just the ears and smells nothing to worry about. Simply curious is all.”

"Mmm... kind of jumpy too.  I didn't know loud noises could be so... loud.  Fidgety too.   Like an itch you can't really scratch."

"Strange?  No... not really.  My ears just sort of hurt 'n everything just smells kind of funny.  But I dunno.  Maybe that's how I was before."

Really? That’s so so cool! One time I was reading about how amnesia is like a transitional state between two lives called bardo and how it connects us to our past lives and yeah it’s really amazing.
