Hello I am justr3adin or glassic if you know me elsewhere and I use she/they/any. Interests are: bugs (especially spiders), art and cats. Also a hater of brainrot. Also from upside down land (maybe that explains my obsession with bugs)

What stuff goes on here?

I mostly make THSC art with occasional sprinkles of other fandoms (mostly comic Aurora). Should be noted that half of it is about Henry.

Henry is the favourite child here, but others are nice too. Revenged is my favourite ending, so expect more of that.

I am NOT a shipper

I generally try to avoid all the lovey dovey things and romance is probably my least favourite genre. I can tolerate them, but I try to avoid them. Also if you’re one of the 5 people who ship things like inc*st, p*dophilia etc, get out. That is gross and disgusting.

But if you can’t exist for 10 minutes without a ship, they can be brought up but, just… try to avoid it

alright I might be running out of drawing ideas BUT exams are over! I’m free!! (For the next few weeks at least)

Vox machina is lowk taking over my brain. Who let Taryon be such a fun character?? Also discovered my favourite character archetype is a pathetic, egotistical, but also really competent person. I mean.. Vox, Erin, Baradun.. probably some more I forgot

Also first time I gave US!Henry hair, not entirely sure how I feel about it but it does make him feel less bald (also first time his redesign in digital)

Also TADC last act… I saw it in cinemas with my friends omfg I loved it. Can’t wait to watch the yt release because I already want to watch it again!!

Also the legend of Vox Machina season 4??? Holy peak I am glued to the screen for this group of misfits

also exams make me want to cry. I feel like studying just sucks an I have like. No motivation even though I am kinda sorta royally screwed.

Behold 2/3 OCs released into the wild!

Fun fact she has a girlfriend! (3rd OC that’s coming up)

Also she gets very annoyed when you refer to Bob as ‘he’. Why did she name a female mantis Bob? Who knows.

Anyway she plans aerial and helicopter paths to avoid storms and such. She probably had a heart attack when Charles left his planned flight in order to go get Henry in IRO and has definitely lectured every pilot in the Government at least once. Charles maybe more than once. Definitely more than once.

I imagine she has training in guns but doesn’t like using them, she prefers more pacifist ways of taking down a criminal organisation.

She gets the pilots to sit down so she can tower over them :)

After this and maybe a redraw or smth I have a few ocs I’ve been brewing up (created in tomodachi life) and I wanna flesh them out to prep for artfight, also just drawing my ocs in general that isn’t a doodle.

Happy 2nd anniversary of my blog’s first drawing!

There’s been a massive improvement in my art in 2 years and I’m overall really happy with my progress!

Art has been a hell of a journey for me and I have learned so much in these short years, and I feel like I can visibly see how much I have progressed since then.

I have also seen my progress plateauing, stopping or even feeling like I’m drawing worse, but art isn’t linear! Improvement is something in the long term, not dictated by an off drawing here or there, and as long as I look back and see changes and betterments in how I draw, I’m content in my direction.

So thank you guys and this community for being so supportive and kind, otherwise drawing may have just been something I didn’t care about, or something that sat in the background. And I’m glad it didn’t :)

art motive here I come!!! But take this thing I made first. Not the happiest with the results, but I’m glad I can finish and move on!

Also art style crisis is back still cannot choose between thick or thin lines. Ah well.

This came to me because I was on the Gaotie. Or high speed rail in English.

When I said 3 days I didn’t actually expect to post soon. Whelp it’s 4 days and this took like 7 hours. huh.

I’m pretty happy with the colour schemes, might do some more lore related doodles

Also fun fact Charles is an artillerist artificer and the little helicopters are eldritch cannons, and he is currently casting firebolt!

Unfortunately my art has not been feeling it these days and I’m really busy with school so I’m not happy with the results (sorry anon)

Thinking of 3 new designs really threw me for a loop so soz if they aren’t super original or good

This week is chock full of content for me to binge which is unfortunate because I need to stress about my exams

*cough* invincible season 4, digital circus ep 8, aurora chapter 7, and just started watching the boys *cough*

So uh that’s why I’ve been doing anything other than drawing digitally

Was gonna convert this to digital but gave up, anyway TT in a fantasy dnd setting because Minmax gave me dnd brain worms again

Henry is a rogue for obvious reasons, Ellie is a monk because she is a physical badass and also her force power is kinda sorta not really but good enough similar to ki points and her iconic stop sign is similar to a polearm. Charles is an artificer because uhhhhh…. I needed a way for him to keep his headphones ok? And also he makes mini helicopter drones because why not.

(Also these refs were drawn before I decided to give Charles and Henry hair so refer below)

I think I’m mostly happy with this colour scheme but might modify it later

Also honestly really happy with Henry’s posing in the first doodle

Also he has cargo pants that basically have pockets of holding in them but he can’t control what he pulls out, but it always somehow benefits him in some way, no matter how backwards and unhelpful it may initially seem. He doesn’t remember when he stole them, just that he stole them from somewhere.

Also I tried with their designs please spot small details that link the 3 together…..

I was working on an art study thing of Uncharted 4 that I might have taken too far (I still love the end and I want to do more but at some point I need to stop)

Anyway this was drawn with only 1 brush! (Wolfe brush in street art, procreate library)

Also the first time I decide to pay attention to values (but like not a lot but still) (~improvement~)

SCARLET HOLLOW EP 5 I AM FERAL OVER THIS GAMEOMG THERES SO MANY OPTIONS (nightmare for achievement hunter like me) BUT it’s so freaking good….

Feel a little sad that one of my favourite traits (street smart) got pushed back into ep 2 where the consequence is easily the lightest but it’s a small nitpick. Besides idm it that much anymore but DAMN THE END. SYBIL. KANEEKA. OHMYGOD.

I’ve been practicing humans a little on traditional but I really want to try drawing some fanart because god knows this game deserves it

THE BIG ART I WAS ALLUDING TO IS DONE

It’s a redraw of the scene where Nate and Elena are riding up the elevator in Uncharted 4 (Original image under the cut)

I am so proud of this work because the background was much more complex than what I usually do and I’m really happy with how the characters turned out, and I tried to make the lighting feel more dynamic rather than studio lighting

This took 16 hours and I think it shows

Hoo boy now that that’s out of the way imma work on some art requests (maybe digital if I feel like it ;))

It’s them! All the Uncharted games are very beautiful but the lost cities really take the cake in being epic and cool and beautiful

Ubar looks really cool in the opening shot but I think I prefer Libertalia (specifically New Devon) a bit more because I am a sucker for rainforests and water features. (Shambhala is very epic too it’s just lacking the water)

Anyway this took way too long and I think I’m gonna stick to basic backgrounds for now (but will definitely attempt something similar to this again)
