This wouldn't be a good review if i didn't point out anything. No artist is flawless. There is always something that will catch my ear. like i have previously states, "the highest form of compliment is criticism". I know each and every artist strives for that perfect sound, that perfect song, that song that EVERYONE knows is you.

by far this guy is one of the types of artists i like. He does various types of EDM and all of them come out very well. The main thing that i like about this artist is he creates a unique sound and doesn't sound like someone else. This would be a leap of faith guess but i think he may have been in a rock band. He incorporates a rock sound in his music and it just flows together very nicely but there is always something that strikes me as off.

First off, Some of the intros don't strike me as an intro. When i listen to his song Sagittarius Feat. Dave Revan, it sounds like it's the middle of the song rather than a build up. The other thing that i am not a fan of is the abrupt end. Every song ends abruptly and when i'm grooving to the song and it ends so suddenly, I am under the assumption that the song isn't over. Next, When im listening, in one song, it sounds like shorts of multiple songs or its an abrupt cut. A great example is Capricorn. I like the song. Its just towards the end it just cuts into something else. It's likely because he is a DJ as well and there are certain time constraints so i am not going to dog too much.

The last thing that i noticed was with his song Pisces. I totally hear Will I am's #thatpower ft Justin Bieber. It's called generic audiotune. It's not a bad thing because its used by alot of artist when they do sappy love songs...

overall, i like this artist. he sounds different and its been a while where i've seen rock-like vocals in an EDM songs. I can't wait to see what the future has in store for him.

to conclude, don't take anything personally, we all want to perfect our craft and we cant get better if someone doesn't point out something that strikes as off. Remember, its just an opinion... MY OPINION

In no way am i hating... "criticism is the highest form of compliment"... not everyone's sound is perfect... so i should shart this review with the good

From the first listen i can tell, this artist loves what he does... i actually like what he comes up with he has a sense of uniqueness to what he puts together but thats the thing, its what he puts together..

with further listening (and i am going from the oldest track to newest), there are specific songs that i can tell were ripped off from other artists. if you listen to We're all connected, the rift is stripped from deadmau5's song Profesional Griefers. its is the same thing with his song Raves 'N' Spirit. The bass line is stripped from Martin Garrix's track  Animals. 

The other criticisms i have is that there are unnecessary parts to his songs and it is very repetitive. some intros are very good and  on other tracks, it is as though there is no intro at all. Also, the BPM is not consistent with some tracks. The outros are extremely weak and again there are part that don't even need to be in the song.

He's like a remix artist that still wants to be considered unique and what he comes up with shows that he is passionate and dedicated and he's not half bad.

Again, This is my OPINION. i am not hating, i am simply criticizing to help these artist perfect their craft

when it comes to his music, Dizkid Skanker said it best about his own music "Just fuckin' around...and shit"

specifically when i listen to his remix of Calvin Harris ft. Ellie Goulding - I Need Your Love, it sounds like it was just thrown together to get something out quickly. The vocals and the beat are not in sync with each other and it's a big mess

the other songs are mediocre. it does not sound like any time and dedication were put into the songs. But hey he's "Just fuckin' around...and shit". the beats are simple and it does not sound like there is any individuality in the songs.

Over all, this artist does not seem serious about his craft. I could be wrong.

DanEJay - Azures Illusion EP (TEASER)

What can i say about DanEJay? except he does very good work… there are a few things that i must criticize but its not to down his work but give constructive criticism.

the first thing i have to say is referring to his remixes. its not necessarily bad it’s just that i can’t get over how the into and outro are completely different.. his remix of Krewella’s ALIVE was done beautifully the only thing that i didnt like about his remix was the outro. When i listen to the outro of a song in general, it typically mirrors the intro. The song did not flow into the outro very well and didn’t flow like the intro. in other words, i would not listen to this song all the way through and i would change the song once the outro hit.

The EP that is linked is a teaser. I absolutely love love LOVE Azures Illusion from the teaser. From the teaser, when i listen to Foolin Around as well as F ing about, i hear the same basic beat as Azures Illusion… For me, if i hear the same basic beat on all songs i wouldn’t buy the whole EP i would definately get Azures Illusion though…

over all, i see alot of potential with this artist and i look forward to following his career and cant wait to see his next release because from the first song on his sound cloud to the most recent release, he gets better and better

LEAVE MILEY ALONE!!!! Will Miley read this?

 i'm pretty sure Miley Cyrus is NEVER going to read this but its a new perspective

   Many people outside of the "smilers" have been scrutinizing Miley for her over-the-top sexed up edgy look. They look at her as a "disney star gone bad girl." i have pretty much grown up observing Miley's career along with other disney stars and what she is doing is really no different then anyone else. In order to make it nowadays, the media looks for the bad things in a person and puts that on blast, and i don't blame them, it's boring to hear the same old goodie two shoes shit. All we are reading about is how Justin Bieber is dickwad" or "Miley Cyrus is a wannabe ghetto ratchet bitch" or " Amanda Bynes is going to the looney bin because she fell down the crazy tree and hit every branch on the way down".  

Back to Miley.

  Miley's look and everything about her right now is really inspired by what she is into at the moment which is the "hip hop scene"... we all go through phases in our lives in terms of what we are into... i'm sure plenty of you have looked back on old photos of yourself and said to yourself "what was i thinking?!"... if you haven't, you most definitely will... Just give yourself a few years

everyone in the media is looking for a way to revolutionize their craft.... They want to be known as that person that did something first, and very few people accomplish that. Miley is on her journey trying to find herself and find that one thing that everyone will remember about  her.... Miley has gone through genres. she started out as Hannah Montana, in the pop world. she dabbled in rock music (7 things). she then dabbled in pop country  (The climb). Then she did a dubstep track (Decisions) with Borgore. Now shes at a point where hip hop is her thing(23).

That may just be her thing. She's not bad on the hip hop tracks that she has done. Outside all of the scrutiny and belittling that the media puts on her, the hip hop community seems to love what she has done with her music. The way she looks, i'm not the biggest fan, but i would not expect her to dress like when she was 15 and be taken seriously as a, now, hip hop artist. Majority of the females in the hip hop scene are black and SOME dress worst than how Miley IS dressing. Miley may be known as that pop artist that transformed herself into a hip hop artist... sooner or later Miley will get bored of hip hop and move on to something else... will it be today? tomorrow? next week? next year?... we will never know. What Miley does is her decision and i'm sure that whatever she moves on to next, the media will be right there telling her that she needs to go back to being that wholesome disney princess.

Again, i'm not sure how Miley would react to this but hopefully it was a different perspective.
