She shrugged. What with everything that had happened in the world, the only thing she was sure of was that no one was who they seemed to be. Instead she offered, “I’ll trade you. Your name for mine.” It wasn’t much but still, it would be something. And it was always good to play dumb-if nothing else, people tended to tell you more than you needed to know.
"Didn’t you say that you had something to do?" she asked as he moved towards a hallway, following him, slight confusion crossing her face. "Or is it on the way?" Either way, there wasn’t much of a time limit in the sense that she was mostly running around, hoping to get lucky. Anything from SHIELD would bring in a sizable amount of cash. "I’m in no hurry, so it’s really up to you."
That seemed fair, besides, if she was going to join S.H.I.E.L.D., she'd find out anyways. Plus, he needed something to call her besides lost girl, chick, hey you, and everything in between if they met again. " I'm Steve. " Which sounded like nothing special, which is how he preferred it, even if he opened his big mouth earlier.
" Honestly, I was going to shower, but I don't see the point now if I'm going to turn around and come back anyways. " That and his smell would sort of ward her off, he hoped. " No. I'm pretty sure it's this way... " She had to ask, and confuse him again. Maybe she was doing this on purpose.
