Sorry for the late answer! I genuinely didn't see this until now, but for the question (which I'm grateful for), well– gonna sound silly yet Voyager-1 is definitely one of those.

Maybe you have seen or heard that recently we got a signal (hello) from it which is honestly, like, mind-blowing? Because y'know it was launched in 1977 and passed our solar system somewhere around 2012 and the fact that it is still drifting through the space? Yeah it's just really fascinating to me. I believe I read that it's 15.8 billions miles away now. Which is, again, amazing because it makes Voyager-1 almost 1 light-day away. 1 light-day, yet it has been floating around the space for almost 49 years now.

For space thingy, just the thought of how time works and how vast the space is? Or silly things like how there is so, so many planets alone in the Milkyway and the fact that no one has ever seen nor set a foot in it. There's probably planets where the wind blows warm and soft waves hit a beach. Probably endless of landscapes and views, y'know?

But other than that, my favorites are definitely Orion Nebula and Pleiades. As for asteroid, it has to be 6478 Gault. As a side note, for astronomical event, I really really love Perseids as well! And to addition to all of this, fireball meteors are pretty amazing too :)
