â ââ ââ the civil wars lyrics sentence starters
thatâs the least of all my fears.
please forgive me.
devilâs gonna follow me wherever i go.
iâm a dead man walking.
you only know what i want you to.
i know everything you donât want me to.
you think your dreams are the same as mine.
i wish youâd hold me.
i donât have a choice but iâd still choose you.
youâve been lonely too long.
let me in the wall youâve built around.
let me hold your hand.
youâre like a mirror, reflecting me.
i never meant to get us in this deep.
i wish you were the one that got away.
oh, if i could go back in time.Â
i wish iâd never seen your face.
heâs hidden his heart away.
all he really wants is for someone to want him back.
what i choose is my choice.
the killer in me is the killer in you.
youâre sunlight.
youâre my favorite song, always on the tip of my tongue.
look what youâve done.
you own me with whispers like poetry.
your mouth is a melody i memorize.Â
oh lord, what have i done?
iâve fallen in love with a man on the run.
donât take that sinner from me.
iâve fallen for someone whoâs nothing like you.
i just want to take him home.
he did what he had to do.
give me the burden, give me the blame. iâll shoulder the loud and  iâll swallow the shame.
donât care if heâs guilty. donât care if heâs not.
heâs good and heâs bad and heâs all that iâve got.
i saw heaven every day.
donât you fret my dear, itâll all be over soon.
iâll be waiting here for you.
i donât want to talk right now.
for all that weâve got, donât let go.
i canât pull you closer than this.
itâs just you and the moon on my skin.
just hold me.
sheâs in love and she wonât be again.
iâm going to go home.
why are you so far from me?
in my arms is where you are to be.
how long will you make me wait?
i donât know how much more i can take.
iâm still waiting patiently.
i wanna leave you.
i wanna give up.
iâm gonna say it if you wonât.
stop saying those sweet things you know i like to hear.
youâre right here with me.
you canât blame me.
havenât you noticed me drifting?
iâve got to let you go.
i just keep losing myself.
one glance was all it took.
give me one more chance.
wonât you please let me into your heart?
i was blind to let you go.
i want you back.
trying to live without your love is like one long sleepless night.
iâm coming home real soon.
i love the best i can.
whatever you do, keep it with you.
sometimes i canât tell where i am.
through it all we still remain.
all the kingâs horses and all of his men couldnât tear us apart.
i gave you all the love iâve got.
this is no ordinary love.
i gave you more than i could give.
youâll always be the only one.
i could get over you but please donât ask me to.
you always said you want me to be happy but happiness was having you here with me.
youâll always be the one thatâs standing in my way.

He was a little funny and she just shook her head as he spoke to his palm. The awkwardness just faded as she let go of his hand and allowed it to fall back into place. She took a deep breath in not allowing herself to sucked into something she could not handle. River thought about Adrian and how much she was hurting him but she felt the need to secure her place near the crown. She couldnât understand why she needed this.
âYou want to see me again?â She questioned, maybe he was something she wasnât allowed to see in the castle. How else would a mortal be allowed into the securest part of Oberonâs facility. She smacked her lips. âSure Iâd like that. But can you help me put all this stuff in a room. Itâs at Grannyâs for now. I donât know until whenâŠbut yeah I have the room and I donât think I can carry this all the way there. So could you?â This was all a ploy of course. The only ways she knew how to control men was through sex and she would use her own body as a weapon, she didnât care. She only cared when Sarousch was forcing her whore herself out to patrons back in her land.
It was the least he could do, really. Helping her with her things didn't sound too bad . âI don't mind.â He never really wandered  about the town nor did he really spend that much time at Granny's Diner. Merlin mostly tended to avoid large areas where people would be around but at least they were just heading to the rooms, not the seating area. With Hook on the up and up because of the Swan woman her shouldn't feel as though he had to hide.
Merlin nodded, then realized that she had agreed. He was surprised and taken aback for a little bit as he chuckled awkwardly at her and began to walk. âLead the way...I sorta know where the place is but when we are going to the room...that's what I meant.â
âOh, Smee. Your niavete is inspiring, truly. I must write a ballad in your honor. The crew is not keen on you, nor I, nor anything but the promise of whores, rum and treasure. Pirates. Scallywags. Your devotion to me is your saving grace- the fear I instill in the crew is mine.âÂ

âNow, now Capt'n.â he pursed his lips and moved around to get something comfortable for Hook to sit on. âI think it's time you relax,â At least he had the vote of some of the lost boys, though the context of it was questionable since he was often used as the bait to capture some of Pan's boys. âReally, no need t speak that way, Capt'n, sit down let me get you a drink,â Anything really to stop the onslaught of words that just both confused him and annoyed him.
If you could do me a favor and reblog this post if youâre willing to rp with characters from Peter Pan that would be  s t e l l a r.
What did you call me?
Meme / Open
âWas that not a compliment? Are younot a genius? We have been here on this island for what feels likecenturies and you have managed to âŠwell, outsmarted usâŠme.â
âEverybody loves me, and I intend to keep it that way.â
âVery humorous. No one loves you but I, Smee. And even then there are days I canât stand the sight of you.âÂ
âAnd I am grateful for that âŠ.â He furrowed his brows as the other's words turned from a compliment to a sort of insult? Smee wrinkled his nose, âPlent'ee of the crew is keen on me....is that now?â

Please reblog if itâs okay/not considered force shipping to send you shippy memes!
Within reason. If youâve expressed beforehand that youâre not okay with a certain ship, that should and will be respected. Harassing others with force shipping via ask memes (or any other method) isnât cool & this PSA reblog should not be used as an excuse/permission to do so. :(
He slipped onto the ship, heart thudding in his chest. It would be easy, they had said. Heâd be able to get in and out without a single pirate noticing him. Though, if that was the case, he wondered why they didnât come themselves. Instead, theyâd forced him to go, alone, onto the pirate ship, and see if they had anything worth stealing. They were pirates, they should have some type of treasure. Hopefully, he could find it easily, and slip on and off the ship without being noticed. Leaving empty-handed wasnât an option, his parents would just make him come back. No, he had to find at least a little treasure to take with him.
However, the fact that there were pirates practically everywhere on deck wasnât going to help him get far. They hadnât seen him; yet, but it was very likely theyâd see him sneaking into the hold. Maybe he could just wait them out, most of them were drinking what looked to be rum. Itâd be easier to sneak below deck once the men were drunk or asleep. It should just take a little bit of âŠ
Suddenly, he was being pulled to his feet by a very strong hand. Any attempt on his part to struggle instantly ceased when a dagger was suddenly held to his neck. âMr. Smee!â the man bellowed, causing not just the man who was addressed to look over, but the entire crew. âWeâve got ourselves an intruder!â
Jiminy glanced toward the docks, where his parents were waiting. Surely theyâd think of a way to ⊠leave him. He could see their retreating figures. They were walking away from the docks, and leaving him in the hands of pirates. He closed his eyes in defeat, realizing he was on his own for this one. His parents, who constantly talked about the importance of family, had left him to fend for himself.

Smee had waited just at the deck, his capt'n was off an errand; one of the private kind that put coins in one man's pocket and barely any in the soiled dove that serviced. His sight was set on the waters, impatiently waiting to get back and on their way. But this sort of fun asked for patience, some of which Smee didn't exactly have at the moment. The crew was enjoying themselves, some part took in delights as a few women gathered around the ship. All of them had to wait until the capt'n had his turn. No fooleries just yet. So they drank and amused themselves with far fetched and exaggerated stories of their own adventures on the tides.
He wasn't as amused with the proclivities that delighted most men aboard the ship. All his concerns rested on the fact that they didn't make as much as they had intended. The vessel they had ambushed had barely enough to pay the crew. They would have to do one more job, just one more and maybe they could have an even pay all around. Still, the risk of it made him uneasy if the men were not satisfied with the goings on aboard the ship. Smee had to be the peace maker there. They all feared and respected Hook but the voice of reason aboard the ship had always been Smee.
Smee he heard his name being called thinking that another one had put their hand on something they shouldn't. He pulled handle of the dagger at his side, âHow many times do we have to go over stealing....â His voice trailed on at the unfamiliar face that presented himself. Smee turned to his crew, âWho was on watch? Which one of you was on watch?!â All the faces turned to each other then at the one face that hid behind the rest. âShoot him and throw him overboard. The capt'n won't be happy when he hears about this.â
He drew the dagger and placed it at the neck of the intruder, cutting just a bit at the skin. âWelcome to the Jolly Roger.â He grinned, âTake him below deck, and do be kind. We wouldn't want him to get hurt on the way there.â Smee addressed the crew, the sarcasm was quite heave causing all the men to laugh among themselves.
i'm going to hop into the shower for a bit. Be back later.
âI donât generally take too well to men Iâm not working for giving me orders without stating a reason first. Such as, you shouldnât come this way, thereâs a huge hole in the ground that you could fall in and die, or a forest fire, or and this is my persona favorite,  a group of grown men screaming at one another so loudly the it can be heard from the main trail⊠You know normal things. â
Her brow stayed arched, coming from working with the guard who as a rule was made up of mostly sexist assholes, that would often would tell her the same thing followed by an âitâs no place for a girlâ or âthis is a job for the menâ she now got a bit defensive when anyone spoke to her like that, even though deep down, she had a feeling he meant well. âIâm just here to make sure there isnât a new murder to investigate in the morning, nothing more. . â
He wasn't amused in the slightest, âSorry.â For a second he felt as if he hadn't heard her right but he did, âWell, then.â Smee smacked his lips and rubbed his jaw feeling the small amount of stubble prick his palm. âI don't take to kindly to rude people, I don't care if they are men women or in between, not either or just regularly undecided.â It was just like sexist to bring up gender into a conversation. He didn't care if the person who had stepped before him was a man or a woman. Either way he would have come out with the same answer, that they shouldn't be here. âI was not giving you an order, I was stating that you shouldn't be here. As in, this is a private conversation so please see your way out of it.â
Smee saw a rubbernecker in his way. âI can tell you, there isn't a murder going on. And that this doesn't concern you. Again. The merry men are about a few ways off from here, just keep going along the main road and you'll find them eventually. They're the ones with the great big fire set to keep all them fed and warm.â The men behind him kept arguing amongst themselves, calling him back to the fold as he was the only one who who could keep them at bay. âBonnie, please keep them from killing themselves.â Smee called back to his best mate, another who was both feared and respected among the crew. His attention called back to the strawberry blonde in front of him. âAre you leaving or what?â
Lina really fucking hated Storybrook, she missed her old job, she missed being a knight. It was shocking how few people commented on her height when she was in her armor with a sword in hand. Hereâ she owned a damn flower shop and it was the most boring life she could ever think to have. She craved adventure, but with Emma coming into her own, and Hook super glued to her side, no one needed her protection. Which left here hereâŠWondering the woods in the middle of the night trying to for just a moment pretend she still had patrols or someone who needed her to save them.
At the sound of a mans voice she stepped out of the treeline and crossed her own arms âoh? Says who?â
âYou know when someone shows's concern for someone else, saying that they shouldn't be here out of safety precautions. There is usually a why, not a says who.â he found it quite odd, how he was put off by those words. Too much time spent in the company of very disillusioned children. Smee had always been the one who was kind to the little ones, often giving them sweets and letting them have some semblance of safety when going to meet his capt'n.
His arms still crossed, âSays me. I'm only saying this because this is a private meeting. Just head a few feet over and you can find the merrymen. Here private matters are being discussed.â With the hostilities going on among the men it was hard for him not to be agitated at the moment. Everyone was on alert, but not for any outside force but from each other. All the men were armed and all of them would sue it on each other. The only one who was keeping the peace so far was Smee, keeping them from killing each other.
