artist / sculptures / paintings/ drawings / photographs/ artefacts/ my website: http://humain.hautetfort.com  /Since 1982, with the practice of sculpture and painting, I look for paths of the human to a possible abstraction, desirable ...For this, I use usual geometric shapes and poor materials as well as found objects. Recently, the construction of a "shooting studio" allowed me to collect my works and create from them "-artefacts- images".A recent creation can rub shoulders with an older work and a figurative sculpture can evolve in an abstract or symbolic universe. The sculptures and paintings created over the last thirty years are organized in new "images" and I consider them as works that can still evolve over time.In fact, in our virtual world, these "artifact images" are continuations, kind of cuttings of primitive works ... these again using me of materials. I build and deconstruct my work constantly. It is no longer the real objects that have an artistic importance, but rather their representations and their confrontations with each other ... it is at the same time revisiting a work and creating another one becoming virtual by the force of things and by our new modes of communication. extrait de l’introduction au livre de Johannes Itten : “art de la couleur”
“Everything that one can learn from books or from one's teachers resembles a vehicle”: thus expresses a passage from the Veda. Further on it reads: "But this vehicle is only useful as long as you stay on the road. Whoever arrives at the end of the motorized road abandons the vehicle and leaves on foot ”.
By means of this book, I want to try to build a useful vehicle, which can come to the aid of all those who are interested in the artistic problems of color.
You can also set off, without a vehicle, and embark on unexplored paths, but then you move slowly and dangerously.
