perfectly peaceful.
“Good. Thank you.” Her laughter was contagious, as always, causing a grin to form on his face. How happy she always appeared to be warmed his heart and he felt thankful that he was someone who caused all of her smiles and giggles. Her playfulness was something he admired and he felt happy that between Juyeon and Wonwoo, he was learning how to join in on it. “I will definitely remember it.” At her following statement, his gaze fell to the table in front of him and his smile softened as his cheeks turned a lighter shade. “I love you, too. And I will… most certainly be sure to remember that, even if I forget the other thing.”
His smile increased a little as he nodded his head. “You could.” He had faith in her, just as he had faith in himself to improve at it. “Then you could help me pick up on a few things, too. Before you know it, we won’t even need to go out to places like this, because we’ll be serving dishes just as good.” Quietly chuckling, he dipped his head down in yet another nod. “If you’d like them, yes.”
“you’re welcome,” she replied softly, a faint smile remaining on her features. it’s amazing how much she felt like she missed this, considering the fact that she had never had this. having an actual family was definitely something that juyeon could get used to, and she had no plans of letting anything take that from her. “good, because i won’t remind you!” she replied, slightly nudging him once more. “unless i do remind you. you’re rather lovable, clifford.”
“that... well, it sounds like a really good idea,” she admitted honestly, excitement clear in her tone as her smile widened. “i think i’d love that, actually! imagine that... you’ll never have to pay for high-end meals like this again! you’ll only have to pay for high-end ingredients,” she continued, more light laughter rising from within her. “i’d love them, mingyu—i really would.”
