It has only been a little less than a week since he’s answered a certain phone call that would have only led him to this exact place at this very moment. There was no name given, and to be fair, no other information besides an address, a time, and what to look like for this photo shoot to endorse a line of Kye jeans. The male would have been just slightly scared if the building he was brought to didn’t look as nice; a tall, bricked building without any paint on its sign chipping whatsoever. This set his heart at ease momentarily.
Just as Kai stumbles his way into the building, everything seems to happen way too fast. There are greetings and hello’s from workers, someone explaining the meaning of the photo shoot to him as two random women play with his hair and paint a new skin tone onto his face, another group of people discussing exactly what he should wear. However, there’s no sign of another model around at all. Kai knew he couldn’t do this alone; he has merely done an underground photo shoot with his best friend, Taemin, but that was just for fun. Back then, he could laugh and pose any way he wanted to, it was nothing serious like now.
As if reading his own train of thought, the man who seemed to be leading the shoot commented, “There’s nothing to worry about, hot stuff. Now, get dressed. We start in ten!” He soon finds himself being shoved into a bathroom, changing as quickly as possible into a pair of dark branded jeans and a black, long-sleeves shirt. This was only one of the many outfits he would have to change into. Upon leaving the washroom, he bumps into another figure, knocking his old clothes out of his arms, and he apologizes right now. “Hey, I’m so sorry for that—” his words trail off only because the person he’s apologizing to is someone so familiar, it almost has him second guessing if they’re real or not.
