âThese mountains that you are carrying, you were only supposed to climb.â
â Najwa Zebian
Ooh, you make me live. We hardly need to use our ears- in the shower of the mushroom cloud, itâs time for the hammer to fall. Iâve fallen in love, Iâve taken my bows- I can fly, my friends! On a collision course, I work âtil I ache my bones. These are the days it never rains but it pours. Out of the doorway, the bullets r i p- insatiable an appetite- another one gone, and another one gone, cannot take it anymore! One wave short of a shipwreck, each morning I wake up- I die a little. Just a man, with a manâs courage, come, come play the game; They say Iâve got a lot of water in my brain- hurry back, I canât face this life alone. This thing? Itâs been no bed of roses, no pleasure cruise, but touch my tears with your lips, cause loveâs such an old-fashioned word. e m p t y s p a c e s , w h a t a r e w e l i v i n g f o r ? anyway, the wind blows. On with the show. Sometimes, I wish Iâd never been born at all; nothing but a sham it seems, shouting in the streets- gonna take on the world someday. If I could only reach you into sunshine from the rain. Iâm twostepsnearer to my grave. Behind the curtain, you made me live again.
TRIBUTE TO MERCURY, by JOANIA HERNANDEZ
this poem was written by Queen; every line is a line dervied directly from one of their songs, as a tribute to the band and their music. All I did was pull lines from songs and reorganise them into a cohesive poem. Enjoy!
âThe first time heâll apologize for his hand on your face, it seems like heâs sirious. But heâll do it again. And you will flinch everytime someone moves their arm.â

Itâs bad poetry scribbled on napkins between the coffee stains of the third coffee with a hint of lipstick smear for being too good and haunted memories of white noise and lingering glances across the space of a room. Or perhaps this poetry is revolutionary, of how I love women and their smiles and laughs and knowing that we are all, daughters of Eve and children of God, not sin but the purity of life.

Earth, you are the girl next door, the love it took me too long to realise. We spent a millennia chasing uninhabitable love. Hereâs to nights I came to you covered in blood, Hereâs to nights you came to me covered in bruises. Your arms held me when his wouldnât and you told me everything you wanted to tell him but couldnât. And when we realised that comets were merely sweat rolling down the back of the universe, we fell out of love with them. We stopped looking skywards when we found out we are also made of stardust. And when I discovered you loved me it was like oxygen flooding my lungs, like quenching a thirst I didnât know was killing me. Earth, I donât want fire. I donât want ice. I want you.

a new law is about to be passed in Saudi Arabia that will allow the government to execute people for coming out or being openly gay online.
ignoring the fact that this is literally something out of some kind of dystopian novel, in the interests of safety iâve emptied out my face tag and may temporarily deactivate or password protect this blog.
please reblog this and get the word out, and if you pray, please pray for me and my fellow Saudi LGBTQ+/MOGAI family.
ALSO, for those who need it [x]. its a post on erasing all traces of yourself from the interwebs.Â
this is not something to read and keep to yourself. please spread this around. may Allah keep everyone safe.
What the hell
People, this stuff is serious and seriously wrong. I do hope that you are able to survive this send it to a safe space.
I need some help, guys
This is my beautiful mom:
Last year, she had a terrible brain injury that resulted in her inability to work, and gave her mental handicaps
When I moved away from home, she moved her and my little sister 3,000 miles away to be with her family, who promised to support her while she recovered.
However, this month my family cut her off. They stopped paying any of her expenses because they blamed her for a recent tragedy in the family.
My beautiful, wonderful mother is going to become homeless, leaving her and my little sister with no food or housing, and I canât do anything about it.
I do commissions (in my blog, search âthesoggybugâ), but if you canât pay the full amount, Iâll take any amount donation for my mother.
The paypal I have for her can be found at paypal.me/thesoggybug,
or through my email [email protected]
Please.
If it was your mother, wouldnât you want to help her?
Whatâs your name?
