I think white people are projecting their whiteness onto east asians when they defend east asians over the antiblackness thats so rampant in their culture. They stop being White Lite(tm) when they have to pull the "it's racist to call them racist" card. Then there's pitting asians against black people, and for what? The odds are stacked against the latter but doesn't erase any injustice other marginalized identities face. Being black earning you less favors than any group has always been fact.

And then actual instances of racism towards asians goes unchecked. COVID did not magically make people hate asians more, it gave them a justification to act bolder. When a white person or non-asian gets called out for fetishizing or stereotyping an entire group as feminine, they get defensive all of a sudden or try to deny it.

Okay so it’s been about 40 min I guess and I don’t even know how to describe what I’m feeling. I’m very aware of EVERYTHING. If you’re not careful any lingering anxiety sneaks up….

Okay so I only microdosed but this is how it went for me:

First ten minutes felt like I just smoked a bowl which was nice

Next 5 minutes were anxiety filled for??? No reason?? Husband was cooking Japanese katsu with curry in the kitchen and every time he put something in the pan the loud sizzle my skin jumped off my body LMAO

Gf then goes oooh I know let’s watch Lofi anime cooking videos. THIS ALSO ENDED UP SCARING ME the animation of them cutting and grinding chicken literally started to make me tweak tf out for a second 😭

ATP gf and hubby are still feeling good bc they’re much more accustomed to tripping, im on the couch curled up trying to Focus Every cell in My Body to not Freak out (gf is laughing at me and we both start cracking up) but then she put on like a universe? Space? Video and we zoned out and almost fell asleep on the couch. It was raining outside too so I was snuggled up in a blanket it was v nice

I started to sober up atp over an hour had passed but I think the height of it was over bc after that I read fanfiction and listened to music (my usual free time go-to) and I felt like I was In The Story so that was cool.

I want to do it again but I will do a larger dose next time, and I HAVE to make sure I chill the Fuck Out before tripping bc that shit brings everything to your awareness that’s been hiding in the shadows.

today i rang up a customer at work for $13.36 and i said with such genuine cheer "uh-oh! two years before the plague hit England, if anyone cares!" and i watched the customer's eyes as they were clearly taken aback and then tried to pretend to be interested at all. they made such a valiant effort. they were like I don't wanna damper this guy's plague enthusiasm. They said, very awkwardly, "haha, uh-oh!"
