You think that you can [ S C A R E ] me ?? I will SHOW you What “fear” means !!
cxmexneileen:
“I.. I don’t understand. It mightn’t be for you, but I’ve never seen one of these… computers before. I thought a computer was a job, not a machine.”
“I don’t think you’re familiar with the term ‘evolution’ are you?”
effieforpresident:
“Because people leave their expensive gadgets around,” Effie deadpanned as she slid into the seat across Jac at the table. “Your secret is quite safe from me,” she added, pulling out her own binder with notes from school. The year was starting back up soon, and with competition out of the question, she was readying to throw herself into the work that the rest of school that she was allowed online. Something about not being able to leave since she wasn’t trained. “So long as I’m able to work here? There is no other open seating…”
An audible scoff slipped past Jacqueline’s lips just before saying, and not without such obvious sarcasm, “Yes, they do; quite often, actually. And to be quite honest, I’d hate to be the person who left this valuable device.” She gave her iPod a quick glance, watching it buzz off and vibrate on the wooden surface. The girl gave it a quick tap to make it stop, and as she did, the binder the other girl brought out made her quirk an eyebrow. “Wow,” She began with a feigned tone of awe in her voice. “It’s like you started a nerd-fest over the table.”
ravi-ravioli:
“Ahh, but you do have a tendency to be overbearing and unfeeling, and I’ve heard those are two things your father is,” Ravi grinned. “We all have bits of our parents, whether we want to or not. And that means that your words are meaningless to me.”
“I am also an impeccable leader, and am very charming.” The redhead replied with the utmost confidence, completely ignoring the previous two words that the other girl had described her with. “Besides, not all words can’t be completely unimportant, am I correct?” She asked with more certainty than a question should present. To Jacqueline, this had been little short of a debate -- a fun one at that -- and she was enjoying herself ---- all while earning a brand new perspective; not that she’d ever admit that.
“No, but your inability to see any imperfections in yourself most certainly is one. Everyone has them. Nobody is perfect. No one. Your rude nature counts for another.”
“Ouch, Hannah Montana, right through the ice cold heart.”
sighnomxre:
She shrugged. “I suppose I don’t, but I don’t know around here. This entire place seems completely the opposite from what I thought life was.”
“Charming and interesting as that is, exactly how does this concern me?” Jac tilted her head as she gave the query, squinting her eyes at the girl with a hint of amusement, and of course, satire, in her words.
dealxng:
Ariel raised an eyebrow, her gaze never flickering up from the book she was reading about plant life. “You could’ve fooled me. Would you turn it off though? It’s kind of annoying at this point.”
Jac took a quick glimpse at her iPod, after which she turned to look at the girl and said, “I personally have an affinity for meddling with other people’s belongings.” The redhead uttered this with feigned innocence and a nonchalant shrug.
zakbeshimov:
Zak tried not to laugh, still smirking a little. “If it’s not yours, then who does it belong to? I mean, most people know better than to just leave their stuff laying around.” He really wouldn’t give her too much of a hard time about it. It had been mildly amusing, but not really something to badger someone over.
“If it’s not mine,” Jac started, already with a heavy tone of sarcasm in her voice. “Then it belongs to someone else who isn’t me. Honestly, connecting the dots between those two isn’t too difficult, is it?” She said as she shrugged innocently, quirking both eyebrows as she did so.

Jacqueline sat atop a picnic table, books of the history of Greek gods scattered all around her. It would be a lie to say that she hadn’t tried her best in reading them, but fifteen minutes into it, she began feeling drowsy, hence the now asleep redhead. Next to those books was her iPod which suddenly went off for the alarm she set ---- and Kung fu Fighting started playing. As the girl abruptly awoke, she was stunned to see a figure sitting across her. She stared at her iPod, then at the person, then back again, and said with the least emotion she could muster, “That’s not mine.”
Caspian stood in the sing-a-long, hands in his pockets, a big goofy grin, and humming along to the familiar camp songs when he sensed someone moving next to him. “Aw man, I’m not even singing and scaring you off?”
“Oh yes, every action I make is entirely dependent on your own.” Jacqueline replied with the utmost seriousness on her face as she nodded with an almost believable sincerity ---- almost.
“Okay, so I still don’t understand this internet thing, but I really like these 100 years of fashion videos. They explain a lot of what I saw in the casino.”
“Yes, typing and pushing buttons must be a real challenge.”
She often woke with terrible nightmares in Camp Half Blood. Once she’d moved out, they were never quite as often or quite as damaging. Yet, last night the patter had returned, and Jess simply pinned it down to the stress of organising the wedding, mostly by herself. She’d chosen to do this, and the stubborn redhead was not about to change her mind. Though Jessabelle’s determination didn’t stop her from getting lost into those brutal memories that made up her nightmares. So much so, she did not realise that another camper had been trying to speak with her, nor that they were even there.
“I was discussing pressing matters,” Jacqueline stated with a completely inanimate expression on her face as she inspected her nails in boredom; though her sentence was mostly, well, a lie. Truth be told, the girl had been complaining about the heat of the sun and blabbering endlessly about said topic, though any opportunity for a sarcastic response, Jac would take. As she saw the pensive and mildly distraught expression on the other girl’s face, however, she couldn’t help but raise an eyebrow. “Though I can tell there are much more important things in your mind?” Her sentence came out as a question as she asked in, quite possibly, the most expressionless way concern could be presented.
trxstawade:
“Do I care? No. I have friends and I’m not some evil bitch everyone wants dead.”
“And I don’t care if you call me an evil bitch, as long as I remain an efficient bitch.”
ravi-ravioli:
“I’m a daughter of Ares, I was born with this state of mind,” Ravi grinned. She felt a rush of satisfaction; talk of a girl who cares not at all had been circulating camp, and Ravi had felt a strange sense of challenge with a girl who seemed uninterested in everything.
Jacqueline couldn’t help but scoff at that sentence. “And I’m a daughter of Zeus, yet I don’t have a raging urge to...copulate with every person I find attractive.” And just like that, the sarcasm returned; although this, in itself, was her own little way of saying ‘tell me more’ ---- though, of course, she’d never say those words aloud; it was bad for her image.
