Benny is a sufferer of insomnia;; it was a minor case during his youth, which happened to develop into more during his time in New Vegas. The bright lights, loud noises, and his forever thinking mine keeps him from getting a proper night of sleep. At most, he sleep about 2-5 hours a day if he ever finds himself to fall asleep. He won’t get a full 8 hour rest unless he passes out from a hang over or just legit pass out.

      And like clear lakes of the Mojave, everything was frozen; stuck in rut as if time stopped personally for him. In one hand a hard drink, the other the key to his victory. Ambition is evil they say--guess he must be a very, very vile person. 

     How many lives were lost in the pursuit of this silly chip? One? Two? Twelve? He lost count, but what did that matter to a man who spat in the face of a ruler? Once you go against god, the only thing to do is continue to walk as a nonbeliever; with teeth gritted together dedicated to show that God’s just a man that can die like the rest. And ain’t no f i n k gonna stop him from that. 

    Yet as he sat, his dark gaze narrowed; the chip he played with in his hand was gripped tightly. His heart beating in his throat. Benny may forget names, but he never forgets faces-- Ruby red locks fell from the head of a familiar figure, their face as pale as a G H O S T. 

    Here was the start of his haunting.

   Time for protocol--the usual ‘meet && greet’ mentality of the tops quickly shuffled through his mind. Keep it classy, like Benny said: say the usual ‘ hey how ‘ya doing-- ‘, compliment them even if they look like they crawled out the ass of a Deathclaw and let em on their way to waste the rest of their lives on hookers and blackjack. Same words, different people, same result--all to the point where Swank was just another pawn in Benny’s meticulious order of things. Just like the rest--

   But the moment he saw her bright eyes and cheery smile walk through those creaky doors was that order broken. And like her, a stupidly cheesy smile came to Swank’s face.

   “ Swanny? “

    Was this real life or was he dreaming? Either way, his smile was growing--almost to the point where it looked out of place. The dorky doorman found himself floundering just seeing her. Stuck in place, all he could do was give her that goofy smile. “ Swanny babe-- holy; bless the gods, there’s my favorite little fuzzy duck walkin’ in to make my day worth it--ain’t that a kick? “”
