Noctis had lapses in consciousness. Unable to tell what was real and what wasn't. Until his royal blue eyes began to open. Slowly but he managed to see the world around him. Tired but not as sleepy as before.
"Ngh."
Noctis stretched as much as he could for a moment. Letting out a big yawn. How long was he sleeping for? Who knew? He couldn't question the time anymore. Not until the star angel's body healed enough to function properly on its own again. Before Noct could ask if anyone was around?
White hot fire erupted all around him. Scorching his body from within. Or so it felt anyway. The pain caused Noctis to scream loudly. This time he was awake for what felt like one of the worst bouts of agony. It seemed like he wouldn't be falling asleep again just yet, and so Noct was forced to endure the process. No matter how much it felt like it burned.
Sora sighed as she found the building that the variety show was held in that Abby told her about. She rarely made it in time and managed to find a seat in the studio audience that gave her a view of the stage that the Saja boys were to be on in a few minutes. Her leg bounced up and down nervously. She didn't know what to expect from this but she promised that she would be here and, by the Gods, she was going to keep it. Kaiba had her working on a last minute promo for an upcoming tournament and she needed a long break.
As the show started, Sora's face lit up in a bright smile as she Abby again. Her eyes traced over the other members, briefly lingering on one with long pink hair. Holy moly...she shook her head and brought her attention back to Abby as...
Is he wearing a bib?
She snickers bringing out her phone to record as the Saja boys were tasked with seeing who would last the longest in chugging a bottle of hot sauce and ut was then that she learned the rest of the band's names. Jinu being the black haired one, Romance with the heart shaped long pink hair, Mystery with the purple hair covering his face and then Baby the blue haired one who won the contest. She laughed when Abby didn't make it, saving the video.
That was a couple of hours ago. Sora was now outside, near one of the shopping districts reflecting back on what happened. A group called Huntrix showed up, wearing what she though where slightly over-the-top outfits. The Saja Boys also acted...weird. The Manacle hidden on her wrist flared with heat at the time when the curtain was dropped, leaving her confused. There was something off...she scoffed and took a sip of her drink as she pulled out her phone, trying to convince herself that nothing aas wrong.
"Yeah. I think I'll just... Run."
I'm not sure if I've ever done a "Hot Take" before, but I just wanted to share an observation.
There is one aspect about the retro-style grid aesthetic that I think TRON: Ares actually got better than TRON 2.0 was the kind of liminal darkness that was a recurring element in the 82' film.
At several points in the original film backgrounds will often fade to black or even be absent altogether. Giving the impression that the 82' grid wasn't entirely a location in a literal sense but a kind of ephemeral perceptual illusion. Like a dream or hallucination.
If that makes any sense.
"Whoa! At... Phar... Ah. I have no idea what to call him."

"Actually I quite enjoyed it. Which is... Ah... I mean... He was good at it, you know?"
Timaeus needs a Dartz to strangle.
(That's it. That's the post.)
