David - released June 17th, 2010
1. Whiskey - ( Jana Kramer ) 2. Nothin’ Bout You - ( Brooks & Dunn ) 3. All For Love - ( Lady Antebellum ) 4. Don't It - ( Billy Currington ) The CD’s hit, ‘Whiskey’, initially thought to be a reference to the CD’s namesake, was revealed in a later interview to be about the then fifteen year old’s boyfriend at the time, Jude McLane, fellow student at Heffes highschool. The CD does not, in fact, contain any songs outright referencing David, Jake’s older brother; when asked about it at the release party, the girl merely shrugged and replied ‘he’s the reason it exists’ and refused any further comment on the subject. The CD also contains 'All For Love' a showstopper that wowed audiences and critics at her first live performance of it, with few believing she had the lungs for it. The alleged inspiration for the song is one Addison Von Amerherst, a fellow student Jake was initially romantically linked to until it was publicized that the pair are both gay. Despite this, there are still those out there who believe the two are together - and we have to say, it wouldn't be a bad choice; Von Amerherst is the heir to a massive fortune, a true Upper East Sider.
House Party - released May 4th, 2011
1. Somethin’ Bad ft. Carrie Underwood - ( Miranda Lambert ) 2. Boys and Buses - ( Hayden Panettiere ) 3. House Party - ( Sam Hunt ) 4. Country in My Soul - ( Florida Georgia Line ) 5. All Over the Road - ( Easton Corbin ) 6. Ex to See - ( Sam Hunt ) 7. Follow Your Arrow - ( Kacey Musgraves ) 8. Helluva Life - ( Frankie Ballard ) 9. Barefoot Blue Jean Night - ( Jake Owen ) 10. Outta My Head - ( Craig Campbell ) 11. Speakers - ( Sam Hunt ) 12. Already Callin' You Mine - ( Parmalee ) The CD’s title song and initially released single was, fairly, first considered nothing but a good time song. It wasn’t until Jake’s first interview regarding the CD that the depth of the song was explained; ‘It’s for someone I could easily love,” the then sixteen year old had said, in true teenage girl fashion. When asked if it was for her former boyfriend, Jude McLane, the girl laughed; ‘God, no; I never had to worry about getting him out of the house. It’s about someone I know who hates being alone, but also never lets anyone in,’ when asked for further comment, she refused, and identity of the subject remains a mystery to all but her - and potentially, the subject themselves. It's not the only track about a mystery girl - allegedly, the single 'Speakers' was written for Ms. Williams' supposed best friend - Hazel Rammone, a fellow student at the same Preparatory School as Jake herself, and her ex-boyfriend, Jude. The two are often photographed together in the streets of New York, and despite Williams' claims that there's nothing romantic going on between them, a photo of pair sharing a private moment - that looks a lot like a kiss to us - spent weeks plastered over magazine covers. Other tracks include ‘Boys and Buses’ - something Williams claimed as a coming out song, saying it was less about another boy showing up and more about letting them go, ‘Helluva Life’, and ‘Country in my Soul’, both allegedly contributed to the influence of a boy named Sawyer Donovan, claimed to be a close friend of the singer, and ‘Somethin’ Bad’; a collaborative effort with Carrie Underwood.
