jybomi:
she nods, agreeing and arktos hurries back in when he hears that theyâre going upstairs, quick to get into his position next to hakyeon in order to help him up the stairs. she had asked her beloved pokemon years ago to watch after her boyfriend, before they were even dating, and the zoroark had taken the request very seriously, never neglecting his duty and honestly, bomi was so so proud of him.Â
âokay, arky will help you upstairs and iâll come meet you after? iâm going to check on all the babies in the living room and make sure theyâre all settled,â she smiles at hakyeon, indicating where she was going. she always did a last check on the pokemon before she went to bed, even when he wasnât there, but since he was, there were more pokemon camping out so she had to make sure they were all comfortable.Â
âyou know where your clothes are,â she comments, before waving him off with arkto, trusting the dark type pokemon wholeheartedly to take care of her boyfriend. she hurries to go check on all the pokemon, having lots and lots of blankets and pillows in her living room for this sole reason, smiling and giving all of them goodnight kisses before she also heads upstairs, a night light on for the babies.Â
he canât help but laugh a little bit at how eager and ready arktos always is to help. the zoroark has been doing this for years, and he has a sneaking suspicion that itâs something bomi had requested of the pokemon, but heâs never voiced his thoughts, instead, teasing his girlfriend relentlessly that her beloved pokemon loves him more than her. heâs just grateful for it, in the end, because arky has certainly saved him from a few nasty falls. heâs so, so lucky, for all of them.Â
âokay,â he agrees with a soft smile, leaning in to steal a kiss before arktos helps him towards and up the stairs into bomiâs bedroom. heâs long used to leaning against the zoroark for support, and he thinks that heâs incredibly lucky to have people and pokemon who care as much for him as everyone currently in the apartment do.Â
changing is one thing he can manage himself, but when he heads for the washroom to brush his teeth, arky is once again there to make sure nothing happens on the short trek over. heâs grateful for the attention, really, and he knows that his leg is uncharacteristically sore today. it must be the changing weather, he thinks ruefully to himself. glancing downstairs, he can see the nightlight, and the gentle flames from minkyungâs mane and tail dimming. another day is over, and he honestly doesnât think his life could be any better.
