I feel strongly that we all have the ability to heal ourselves and that there is an innate knowing from within on how to find a balance and gain health. Sometimes we are very far out of balance and our journey can be a little rough and long, my role is to assist those seeking to get back in equilibrium. As a Yoga teacher I have found a great joy for sharing my knowledge with my community. I have a strong interest in being a student for life. I love learning and I love seeking out new experiences that will broaden my horizons. Teaching and being a Mentor to my yoga students continues to challenge and amaze me as I have the opportunity to witness great transformation. yoga.jsrmt.ca

Artist Olek was recently invited to create a piece in New Delhi, India for the St+art Delhi street art festival. Olek chose a night shelter for homeless women and with the help of a full team of volunteers and organizers she transformed the corrugated metal structure into a colorful crochet installation inspired by basic Indian Iconography such as the elephant, the butterfly and flowers.
Never, Ever give up! Arthur’s Inspirational Transformation.
I watched this video this morning and it almost made me tear up. It’s amazing to see such hard work and dedication from someone who was told he’d never properly walk again. Just now I was scrolling through tumblr and saw a few ask messages to championsaremade about running recovery. How hard it is to stop being active due to injury and how hard recovery can be. I know there’s many people out there who struggle with injury or who simply don’t have the motivation (or inspiration) to push themselves harder. I think this video can inspire us all. Patience and hard work pays off, yoga heals.
