My latest shooting session was with Noelle Lehmann in an old abandoned quarry south of Stuttgart, Germany.
A sunburst is breaking through the crown of guanacaste (Enterolobium cyclocarpum), the national tree of Costa Rica, where it often used as a shade for the cattle. It’s native to tropical regions from central Mexico south to the northern part of Brazil and Venezuela.

As many others are uploading today: Here is the blood moon (total lunar eclipse). The photo was taken with a 800mm lens at my home town in Germany.

A sunburst is breaking through the dense crown of a tree with many names: Enterolobium cyclocarpum is commonly known as guanacaste, caro caro, or elephant-ear tree. Sometimes it is called Devil's ear and earpod tree, parota and orejón.
Collared aracari (Pteroglossus torquatus) lifes in the jungle of Central America in small flocks, consisting of 6-15 in average. They are then moving though the forest in a rapid direct flight.
