The Road I Must Travel (part 2) These photos is the latest of the national main road in Sanggau from Pontianak. Last week i was see those dust covers all the environment there. The trees, the grass, electric cables, houses, everything in the edge were covers by the dust. Still bad for healthy, for the travelers and for the civils. The government has backdated the fixing, because administration of funding got complicated. Some people think there were politicization. What a life.

The Road I must Travel

Another travels from Sanggau to Pontianak still not good. The national main road has holes, stone, more looked like track for offroad. The province government cannot do anything more than decreasing the holes. It will take so much money to fixing it. Our center government in Java island wasn't give fast responses. Maybe because this country is so bigger than men power. This photos was take from the alternate road; the palm corporation, because we cannot count the nation road on wet season. -December 2013

The Misty On my way to Sanggau for some works, about 267 Km from Pontianak, i told my friend to stopped and took this shoot. We went too early when the mist still cover the dell. It was still cold but the beautiful rays just defeat it.

This market has only exist every Sunday in Sanggau. Country people are selling their fresh fruits, vegetables, and spices from their farms or from forest. There are special baskets to them brings their things. It starts from early morning 'til 9 to 10 A.M.

Sekolah Demokrasi Sanggau

Sekolah Demokrasi adalah suatu program belajar formal untuk masyarakat berdasarkan prinsip pendidikan andragogi dan dialogis dari interaksi sesama peserta, narasumber, dan fasilitator untuk melewati proses transformasi menjadi masyarakat yang lebih demokratis serta berbasis kearifan lokal. Sekolah Demokrasi di Kabupaten Sanggau dilaksanakan oleh ELPAGAR yang bekerjasama dengan Komunitas Indonesia untuk Demokrasi (KID) yang dimulai sejak 2010/2011 di kota Sanggau. Selain di kota Sanggau, Sekolah Demokrasi juga telah hadir di 5 provinsi lain di Indonesia sejak tahun 2007 dan bertambah di 2 daerah lain bersama-sama dengan di Kabupaten Sanggau. Peserta Sekolah Demokrasi terdiri dari para pemuda dan pemudi berusia antara 21-40 tahun yang diharapkan mewakili komponen lembaga politik, birokrasi, komunitas bisnis dan komponen masyarakat sipil. Foto-foto diambil pada masa-masa in class dan inagurasi kelulusan angkatan kedua tahun 2012 ini.
