That’s totally cool. You’ll be like a real life superhero keeping the world safe. I don’t think I’ve ever met someone so determined to be a police officer or detective for that matter.

That’s what I hope. Wish I had the superpowers to go along with it…instead I have to deal with weapons and whatnot. It’ll be terrifying, but someone’s got to do it and like…my step-dad’s a cop and I grew up just so entranced by what he does so I always kind of wanted to be like him rather than a business man like my dad.

I think everybody wishes they had superpowers the world seems to be crazier by the day. But like you said someone has to do it.. Yeah some people just aren't cut out for a cubicle lifestyle.

I want to be a police officer. Well - I’m going to hopefully become a detective, but that takes years of policing experience. Many places only require that you passed high school…sometimes you need a bachelor degree and if I do, then I’ll do whatever it takes to get it. But right now I’m focused on being a police officer.

You’re really going to settle for a community college? I’m not being judgemental I mean to each their own but you seem like a pretty smart guy.

It’s not settling. I don’t want to blow all my money doing basics at a four year school - I’d rather get them out of the way in a community college. Besides, it’s helpful to go a community college and see what the workload is like and learn your time management skills there than in a four year school where the stakes are much higher. Besides - what I want to do…I don’t need much more than two years of schooling anyway.

No,I’m simply stating that colleges look for good grades and extracurriculars. If you don’t fit their criteria then there isn’t much options left in life.

Do you want to know what community college looks for? ‘Are you alive?’ and ‘Do you have the money to pay?’ and…that’s about it. I’m going to community - I honestly don’t care about stressing myself out to get all A’s for four years, joining all the extracurriculars, having a job and doing hundreds of hours of community service, and whatever else you need.
