Sith Sabers & Choreography
It's been quite the road since Thanksgiving. I took on 3 new students under 12 (think younglings). They are learning fast so without them realizing it choreography for the Sith Battle is coming along. Once I break the news to them, I am hoping to have a short teaser up in the next couple of weeks.
I will also be posting pictures of future locations for the Final Battle.

The twins, D and Gabe, are 9 their sister Caty is 10. I am so proud of them, in the short time I've been working with them they have come so far... we all look forward to your continued support.
I will also be posting a picture or three of future locations for the Final Battle.
Kyber Crystal
(Saber Crystal)
At the heart of every Jedi lightsaber is a kyber crystal found on several planets, most notably the icebound caves of Ilum. This crystal is attuned to the Force and connected to a Jedi Knight on a deeply personal level. In this way, a lightsaber is an extension of a Jedi's Force awareness. Because Jedi let the Force guide their selection of the crystal, the vibration that the crystal creates in the lightsaber blade helps Jedi center themselves and find balance in the Force. In this way, a Jedi can center his or her attention beyond the distractions of combat. A lightsaber crystal is colorless until first attuned and connected to a Jedi -- at which times it glows either blue or green or in some rare instances, another shade. From that point on, it retains that hue.
Saber Forge Disciple Shoto in the Arctic Blue color.
The light is very bright, more so than an ultrasabers, the hilt is lightweight and seems durable but the sharp edges will be an issue.
It came with a bit of scratching damage however to me that just adds character.
Hey Tumblr Family! I need your help, I've been wanting to come out with some new content but I also want it to be things that you guys want to see. So if you could please leave comments on that I would appreciate it. -Love, Sage Master Asuan

Sage Master's Fitness
I just wanted to let everyone know that this is by no means required, but I personally am working towards weight loss and being healthier over all. This is the diet and exercise plan that I am following and in about 6 months I've went from 335 down to 280. I can't say for sure that it will work for you, but I am happy to share in the case that it can benefit another. I exercise twice a week and keep my main meals at a ratio of 40-30-30 or Protein-Carbs-Healthy Fats.
You can adjust it based on how much weight you want to loose, keep in mind if you try to loose too much too fast you can shock your body and instead of loosing weight you will gain it. For items with a *, swap in a new fruit, vegetable, whole grain or protein from the Swap It Meal list or the Swap It Item list whenever you want.
+ The Sage Master is Dietary trained with a culinary degree. If you would like help making a plan she will be more than happy to help.

The Forms
Lightsaber forms were cannonized in the Star Wars Universion both through video games, such as Knight of the Old Republic, as well as through books such as The Jedi Path. As lightsaber combat evolves in our society, different groups teach forms differently, so expect to see different forms reflect differently in your journey. Meanwhile we have outlined the canonized versions of the seven forms of combat below. Kyber Odyssey teaches each of these forms through our program under the supervision of our Masters and Battlemaster.
Disclaimer
Form I
Shii-Cho
Way of the Sarlacc
Determination Form
The most basic, foundational form of lightsaber combat, this form originated with the early Force users. It teaches you the fundamentals of saber movement, footwork, and basic attack/defense
Form II
Makashi
Way of the Ysalamari
Contention Form
Following the development of modern lightsabers, Makashi was developed to train Jedi in saber-vs-saber combat dueling.
Form III
Soresu
Way of the Mynock
Resilience Form
The most inward-directed form, Soresu was developed as a defensive form for facing-off against opponents wielding blasters. In this form, you focus your energy, keeping movement close to your body, avoiding lunges and sweeps.
Form IV
Ataru
Way of the Hawk-Bat
Agression Form
A very athletic and acrobatic form, Ataru can be very exhausting. It was designed for use in single-opponent combat and typically in short bursts. In our work, Ataru may not be practiced as acrobatically as Yoda does it, but it is still exhausting and must be used carefully.
Form V
Shien/Djem-So
Way of the Krayt Dragon
Perseverance Form
A varient of Form III/Soresu, Form V focuses on stength. The Shien version as designed to focus on deflecting blaster fire, while Djem-so is focused on lightsaber dueling with strong deflections and counter-attacks.
Form VI
Niman
Way of the Rancor
Moderation Form
Described as the most balanced Form, Niman is a hybrid of Forms I-V, often used by Counsulars against non-Jedi/non-Force Users. This is the Form where practitioners often wield dual blades.
Form VII
Juyo/Vapaad
Way of the Vornskr
Ferocity Form
“Don’t even think about it kid!” Form VII is known to be vicious and unpredictable due to the way the user attempts to tap into controlled passion. Strictly speaking Form VII violates the Jedi Code. It focuses on exceptionally strong attacks, however often leaves the user open to counter-attacks. Vapaad is the variant created and mastered by Mace Windu solely. In Kyber Odyssey Saber Academy, we do not typically teach this form to our team members; when we do, only under the study of our Battlemaster and only under very controlled conditions. Training in this Form has actually resulted in broken bones within our team, thus our very cautious approach!
A lesson for all.
Your focus determines your reality.
