chamiyeon
Miyeon had been sitting on the couch, minding her own business as a fellow roommate also occupied his time in the common room. While she remained primarily focused on her text books, the girl couldn’t help but side eye the other’s activities. Feeling hesitant, Miyeon scooted over to a further distance on the couch, keeping her movements subtle as to not offend the man.
Her eyes continued to scan the sentences before her, but she couldn’t help but get distracted by the soft mutterings of the other speaking out loud. Tae is a professional. It’s okay, Miyeon. Just keep reading. She ushered the thoughts, chanting desperately to herself in an attempt to ensure herself that she was safe in his presence.
But then she felt a cool feeling near the edge of her chin and nape of her neck. Miyeon couldn’t speak. She sat still for a minute before slowly raising her eyes up to the male with a look of disbelief. “Kang Taejoon!” The girl shrieked so loudly, she could probably be heard across the globe.
Taejoon yelped after Miyeon’s shriek pierced the air. “M-Miyeon,” he began with an awkward, open-mouthed grin. “I-I can explain.” He quickly hid the offensive can of paint behind him, as if the action could hide what he had just done. “On the other hand, red is a very becoming color on you. Have I told you that before?” He shot a finger gun in the other’s direction with his free hand.
“Also, did you know colors help with studying? Although, maybe not, uh. Colors. On yourself. You know, on your person.” Laughing awkwardly, he reached over to try and rub at some of the paint near the nape of her neck. However, unlike what he had expected, he managed to smudge the paint into a larger surface area. “Well, shit. I mean, uh, did you know showers can help with thought processes depending on whether you take a shower at night or morning?” He made a clicking sound with his tongue before giving Miyeon a thumbs up..
