MBC's upcoming Friday-Saturday drama Motel California (planned by Jang Jae-hoon, directed by Kim Hyung-min, and written by Lee Seo-yoon), set to premiere in January 2025, is a romantic story about first love and new beginnings. It follows a woman who grew up in a countryside motel and reconnects with her first love after returning to her hometown, 12 years after she left. Adapted from Shim Yoon-seo's popular 2019 novel Home, Bitter Home, the drama has high expectations thanks to its talented cast, including Lee Se-young as Ji Kang-hee, Na In-woo as Cheon Yeon-soo, and veterans like Choi Min-soo, Kim Tae-hyung, and Choi Hee-jin.

Kai, who was discharged from military service on November 7, 2024, made waves with his third mini-album Rover in March 2023. After his brief hiatus for military service, fans can expect his comeback in early 2025.

Seulgi, who debuted as a soloist with 28 Reasons in October 2022, is also ready to return after a two-year hiatus. She is slated to make her highly anticipated comeback in the first quarter of 2025.

Ten, the talented Thai-born member of NCT and WayV, made his solo debut with TEN in February 2023. After a year-long break, Ten is returning in early 2025 with fresh new music.
