Recap: I'm taking care of 2 boys (6 & almost 2) after the loss of their older brother (8) while their mom (my friend) Ash, is in a psychiatric hospital. I am also currently homeless, the boys and my pets are staying with a neighbor however they can't stay much longer. There is an apartment for rent for $920 no deposit required (it says $950 but landlord said it was a typo and is tryna get it fixed). I've been robbed and SA'd over the course of last week and most recently woke up with a knife to my neck. It's getting worse.

Several people have put in for the apartment but the landlord is giving me until Saturday to raise the last $530 for it or he has to go with someone else. Please share! I'm doingg reading and @scarsofbeauty is doing commissions to help!

It’s this line that makes my heart ache the most while watching Bones and All. It feels like the whole movie just clicked as well as a personal revelation. Maren tells Lee this in response to Lee pouring his soul to her, the secret he’s been holding on to. His broken soul expects a response from her akin to the ones of his own demons but no, she levels the playing field like the one they lie on in the Midwest.

Maren meets Lee halfway in this space created where honesty replaces bravado and to be strong is to be vulnerable. In this moment she reassures him they are cut from the same cloth. Their souls decrepit and beautiful. Two broken souls making one. Tasting more freedom then they ever could alone. This is the type of declaration of love someone on the fringes of society needs. It breaks the rule of empathy, to only listen and never relate the experience back to oneself.

You see, someone who has been on their own for so long doesn’t need a person to just listen to them to feel vindicated. Being an outcast already granted them time to get used to the sound of their own voice. In this honest space they humbly let their lover vindicate them. Their deepest carnal desire now is to know one another as fiercely as they know themselves and in the end love the person, bones and all.

Nope was first movie in a while to genuinely make feel uneasy and scare- without being excessively plain disgusting/actually disturbing. It’s proof a movie can be scary and not scaring. It was amazing to watch in theater and I truly believe the experience can be recreated at home- with or without the lights on. I absolutely love this movie and I love it’s atmosphere and honestly the way they used wind was something special. I’m still perplexed by godly and im honestly just fine with that
