[ IM BACK!!!! Man, that took a WHILE, but my replacement cable came in two days ago, so I’ve been grinding at this ever since!!! Anywho- I added wayyyy too many shadings but it’s pretty and I’ll probably never do that again :D thanks for the wait!!! ]
Do the 13 Primes care and prepare the two young Primes?
They all care for Optimus and Rodimus in their own ways, but whenever they’ve got time or one of the two personally seeks them out for advice they do not hesitate to help however they can (although some are a bit more moodier than others).
Optimus and Rodimus do not have a designated caregiver out of the primes, instead, mini-cons around the palace tend to their basic needs for whenever they’re not studying/ training/ working.
Alpha Trion and Prima have the most influence on their training, and Prima personally makes effort to prepare them for the tasks and responsibilities they will have once they become fully fledged primes.
Megatonus and Solus very much enjoys their company, and finds their presence almost refreshing, unfortunately they’re not around the palace long enough to be as influential as Alpha Trion or Prima, but megatronus did have a huge impact on their fighting styles and Solus offered her ways in the art of wits.
Rodimus gets along very well with Alchemist, seeing him as very easy to talk to about whatever lies heavy in his mind. Alchemist established extremely early on to Optimus and Rodimus that he has an open door policy- that whenever they’re need to talk he’d be more than willing to listen and offer his (extremely valuable) 2 cents. But in recent times, he’s been a bit more difficult to find than he used to be, only briefly showing up for meetings and disappearing right after.
Vector, Liege, and Zeta are not the most in favour of the young primes. No particular reason as to why, they just have more important things to take care of.

The autobots and the Decepticons live very differently, the change was not easy for Shockwave, but the second he understood how the game works, he mastered it (making good connections in extremely high places).
What is Rodimus Prime sparking story? Was he born after Optimus Prime?
Rodimus is much younger than Optimus.
After the whole incident with Optimus’ frame, the primes had made sure to have two extra frames on hand just in case there was a whole other batch of primes on their way, and just when they were thinking that Optimus was just a one-off situation, Rodimus was created.
Due to the fact that Rodimus actually received a proper Prime frame, he will grow into it much faster than Optimus has been growing into his.
Raising him was a lot more frustrating than Optimus was, even if they were put through the same programs designed by Alpha Trion and Prima, Rodimus has other passions and in general just walks to the beat of his own drum- not totally caring for the bookside of the learning- but he loves the physical training or the parts of history that he finds “cool”. Because Optimus had just been finishing up his training and preparations to be a prime when Rodimus had first begun- the two grew close very quickly. They spend a lot of their free time together, and Optimus helps out with his teachings whenever he can (which is fairly often).
He looks up to Optimus, but is determined to be his own mech. The primes have been tough on him, constantly comparing him to OP, pointing out the spots where he’s constantly falling behind in and complaining that OP picked it up no problem. Rodimus gets annoyed with that pretty quickly, but he knows that he’ll get the opportunity one day to show them otherwise; although, this has definitely encouraged a bit of a rebellious spirit in him (at one point, he had insisted to be called Hot Rod, because his name sounded too close to Optimus’; but when playing around with “HotRod Prime”, he found the name a bit of a mouthful, and diligently switched back to Rodimus, finding delight in its own way).
So, in your Transformers, au does this mean in the Optimus Prime beginning that he didn't meet Megatron and are friends like in the Transformers origin story?
Yes, Optimus has never met Megatron.
As it stands, Optimus has been extremely isolated from everything, and his need to understand the people and the city he’s been raised to protect drove him to his little escape act (ofc which lead him to Soundwave ). Not even the public have found out about Optimus yet, as it was ambiguously decided many megacycles ago that there was no more primes; Zeta Prime being the last one created. I don’t know if I’ll have Optimus be announced to the public in this chapter or in the beginning of next chapter- but it will come soon ( I know that I have it planned to be mentioned to Soundwave in part 12 or 13 but I don’t know when the event will take place).
The only thing Megatron knows about Optimus, is simply the fact that the young prime exists, all thanks to his inside informant. But that is as far as it goes, and in the future of this comic, they will have very little interaction “on-screen” time. (But that’s honestly just because I don’t like drawing Megatron- his face looks hard to draw so I’ve been avoiding it 💅✨)
What is sparkling Optimus Prime story when he is discovered a Prime by the 13 Primes?
Shock and disbelief crossed everyone’s mind when Alpha trion had been notified of the creation of a Prime’s Spark. And unfortunately, his very first few moments of life did not go without issues.
A regular frame cannot hold the spark of a prime- their processor will fry, and the energon flowing through their lines will boil. There are specific frames needed to host a prime’s spark, but they’re expensive- so with the extreme lack of primes being created, no frames were available at the time of Optimus’ creation.
When all of the primes witnesses Optimus’ spark glow so bright, it burned the optics, they knew something was wrong. And wrong it was- Optimus’ energy output was much, much greater than most of the previous primes, there was simply too much life for his spark to contain, it began to destabilize and extinguish itself. Solus was notified and she had grabbed a civilian frame to use to create Optimus. Optimus’ frame will grow to be much larger than the average civilian, but compared to the rest of the primes, it will not be a secret that he is a runt.
The primes were all dreading the upbringing of Optimus. There was simply too much on all of their plates to have to throw in the caretaking of a sparkling that had too much potential. So most didn’t even offer a hand, instead leaving him to Alpha Trion and Prima to deal with.
Megatronus, Solus, and Alchemist had all attempted their best, especially Solus (but she unconditionally saw him as an incomplete and rushed project, not being able to see past Optimus’ frame)- but they were busy with their own things to have made a significant contribution.
They were much more prepared for Rodimus’ creation.

[ So- this was originally supposed to have an extra 2-3 pages, but my pet bunny struck again and chewed through my drawing tablet’s usb adapter- so I needed to order a new one… again… so, because I had a bit done so I just decided to split the montage up into two parts 😓.
Oh! Side note: I’m thinking I’m finally starting to figure out how to draw Optimus’ face! Will it stick? Probably not. I’m sorry for all the changes in the art style, I genuinely can’t choose one and stick with it ✌️🥲✨ ]
Soundwave introduces the cassettes to Optimus, and vice-versa. And, as a little extra something, something- Optimus had brought a sweet treat for the cassettes as he knew that the mini-cons back in the archives only really warmed up to him whenever he brought them these treats. He was dead set on making a really good first impression.
Rumble, Frenzy, Laserbeak, and Ravage all loved Optimus' gift, and Soundwave's sparke was moved by the gesture and the willingness to get along with his mini-cons.
Ravage, knowing full-well on how mini-cons are typically treated as tools, extensions, and weapons for personal gain, as well as the mechs that Soundwave is constantly surrounded by and how they treat him; sees this as something really, really good for Soundwave. she only wants what's best for him, and just in this very brief introduction to Optimus, has decided that he is more than good enough for him. Now, it's Soundwave's turn to let that good happen to him.
He deserves it.

[So, i've totally been using the wrong colours for SW for the past couple of chapters and didnt fully realize until today- i kinda sensed something felt off about how vibrate he was recently, but i was just thinking it was because of the background colours being more vibrate than those first chapter greys and browns. but nope- straight up have been using the wrong colours haha. anyway- fixed it!]
Optimus plans it all out perfectly, and when the time was right- when Elita and b were dismissed from him- he called on Longarm to distract Prima and Optimus takes his escape!
He climbs the wall and leaves follows the set of coordinates his new “friend” has sent him.
