J. Cole - Love Yourz
Well, I felt inclined to also post a song because I used to do my best to always keep my blog current with what I was listening to... While I wasn't quite as enamored with "Forest Hills Drive" as you can tell J. Cole is, it still has a few above average jams. I think the message behind this song is one of the best that J. Cole has conveyed in awhile, and by comparison it makes his other songs on the album, like "Wet Dreamz" have far less impact. I think J. Cole is due for some collab time now (like for instance that project with Kendrick Lamar he talked about but never happened) because his sound isn't nearly as exciting after three albums. Not to disrespect, its simply a tall order to self produce every song for every album and have each be a classic. If he mixes it up, J. Cole will still have alot to offer for a long time.
