I just finished listening to The Book Of Mormon and its SO GOOD. Elder Price really reminds me of Wally in some ways, and Elder Cunningham reminds me of Eddie

I don't really like how it looks, it looks too spacious at times but then also too cluttered or whatever. Ive never done something like this before :[.

I gradually added to this canvas inbetween my fuller drawings, I've had an urge to fully render them all but I keep having to tell myself that leaving it a sketch is okay.
I have been doing a bunch of reference drawing, I saw obsession recently so I've been looking to draw Wally over some of the stills from the movie, the way Nikki moved and was being all creepy reminded me of him in some ways :]
I've also been getting much better at drawing Frank, definitely his unibrow, that always tripped me up. I also just noticed that I made him do that confused eyebrow thing in both of the sketches.
My sketches are also mostly dominated by Wally because I'm REALLY trying to get more used to drawing him cause I used to NEVER be able to draw him, it was so upsetting but I have gotten so much better imo, I prefer to base the way I draw him off of the poster proportions. idk why. I just like drawing him like that more idk.
I'm honestly just rambling atp, I always feel like this GIF of Kermit whenever I go to post, just yabbering on and on

I love this trend sm and who else could i have possibly draw other than the man himself Wally Darling!
I really wanted to make it look like he was walking down the stairs of Home into a spotlight sorta which was really fun to mess around with the lighting of that whilst still sticking true to the reference!
I also wanted to make Homes presence be known, the original idea was to have the reflection of his windows be on the back wall but that didn't really make any visual sense so I decided to stick to something a little bit more symbolic replacing Wally's shadow with homes window looking up at him which I thought was a very fun detail and also twas very fun to figure out how to emulate that. on a staircase.
It took many attempts to get it right, like a lot, stairs are tricky to draw at all but shadows/light sources are even harder
Time to go back into my little hermit cave to make more of my little drawings of the same guys over and over and over for like all of eternity. :]

Hmmnnn I don’t really read books that often but I did enjoy reading the book ‘i’m thinking of ending things’ by Iain Reid AGAIN the symbolism and it being a psychological horror book I just love the writing pace and everything

If it wasn’t obvious enough it is welcome home and has been for about 3 and a half years straight, it’s been my first ever proper fandom and i’ve met so many (all of) my online friends through it! I’m so happy to have such a supportive community that has really helped me during the years.
Anyways back to welcome home I absolutely adore being able to theorise so much, most my friends know me as THE theorist which makes me literally so jolly because I spend so much time and care into every theory I make. I also think it is so cool we’re watching the lore for welcome home unravel in real time, the character designs are so well thought out and the creators care about the project so much!

I am making a welcome home themed corner in my room, so i’m working on all the decorations for that as well as my room in general as I have moved house. I am also working on some fanfics as I enjoy writing a lot!!
